As most of your videos, this one was great to watch! Never took apart those shock absorbers. Now I know how to overhaul them myself. Thank you for this professional video. I wish you told us what was the gray lubricant and what was the blue one so we could understand their use, like metal on metal or rubber on metal... is it silicone grease or lithium grease and why did you chose those? It could really help novice mechanics. But even so, thank you for the great video!
Please explain me!)) Is there any reason to not throw away these toy shocks? I see no spring travel, no shock-absorber inside - only a rubber damper. If there was any spring travel - rear would bounce all the time. Except if there's a lot of friction in rear suspension
I like the video. My little boy's trials bike has the same shock and I think im gonna tackle it, BUT...what I wish you would've told us what all the different lubricants/glues were throughout the whole thing. I feel like it can't just be lithium grease and loctite...is it? lol
Same here sir, I guess you are in luck if they used any grease at all let alone loctite... I am going to put a hell of a lot of whatever I can find grease in it. After that, I guess I will replace it with a decent part from amazon ;-)

How is it supposed to dampen the shock? It looks just like a fancy spring holder, or am I missing something?
You are right. This is just a fancy accessory and not a shock.
Where is the rest of the shock?

Which fluid did you use in cleaning the parts
Does it come with a kickstand

Great video and beautiful suspension
А типа... Это что, оно вообще работает? Там нет хода совсем. Может я чего-то не понимаю
Все верно, нет поршня.

Nice job. I've never seen the inside parts of one of those shocks. Fascinating. 👍☮️🌞🚲🌟

I love your Vids 💕
Video is gud but this tiny coil will protect our as* from shock?
OK....BUT: 1 hour in a Ultrasonic bath and those Parts were like new....Why.... been there, know the story.... too much "Show" Cleaning !
Heat it up till red and splash in oil. That would prevent rust

May I ask what's the cleaning spray, is it WD-40 or something else?
Probably that's alcohol cleaner
Superb
