    Edit: Finally put in a lift, took plenty of cutting in the front and rear, and a spring compressor. Thanks for your videos, inspiration + instructions since Toytec didn't provide any.

      @@PhoRunner I've been checking out a lot of your videos and just got Bilstein 5100s and OME springs front and rear (881 + 890 rear).
      I haven't installed but I'm hoping this setup will work without a ton of premature wear on other parts ><
      I wanted something a bit stiffer in the rear to carry my dirtbike around, I hope I didn't do something stupid haha

    Industrial Metal Supply (L.A. Sunland, Orange County? Sand Diego, Phoenix & Tucson) has bins of aluminum cut offs and rod stock. You could probably get some of the smaller spacers by getting something from the bin and then hack-sawing to the proper length and drilling it. No clue as to hardness spec, but it doesn't look critical, at least for the skidguard.
    Thanks for making videos during the quarantine. Maybe I spent too many years teaching middle school but my first thought was, "Man, governor Newsom just grounded ALL of us." (btw There's no statute of limitations for being a rotten kid--sooner or later they catch up to you. Me? I had to teach middle school for ten years. Not one second of that time was the irony of my situation not readily apparent.)

    • @PhoRunner
      @PhoRunner  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My longer bolt seems fine. Not really sure those spacers are needed. The metal is thin and can bend a little so I made it work. It might be more for aftermarket skids
