    Thanks for answering these questions!! I learned a lot about questions we're all asking but didn't even know we needed to know! I have wondered about oiling my scalp after henna because my scalp is always a bit dry. I'm definitely going to have to refer to this video the next time I apply my henna!

    Very beneficial upload. I find using As I Am classic leave-in works well following my henna treatments including when I follow up with Indigo. It contains an oil blend within the formula. Be well.

    I used the two-step henna and indigo dye treatment for the first time. I love the color results. I used a water based leave-in conditioner right after coloring. I am waiting 48 hours to allow the color to settle before adding oil to my scalp and hair. When I do my oil treatment I will dampen my hair first with the water based leave-in conditioner. I ordered the CoWash for the next time I color my hair. 👍🏽🤗

      @@HennaSooq Thank you! But I have dry hair. I cannot wait 3 to 5 days to add oil and moisturizer to my hair. The most I can wait is 2 days. However, I am waiting a week before I wash again with moisturizing shampoo.

      @@cbchang6200 Oh this would be for deep conditioning. So ideally for henna coloring, you prewash with our shampoo, color, or treatment, and then use our restorative conditioner to wash it out. Then moisturize (with light leave ins, not a heavy oil), and dry and style. Then you can allow 3-5 days for the color to settle. Really good leave ins that we use at the salon we'd recommend are The Doux. They dont' strip out the henna color.

    After using cassia, zizyphus,or other treatments you say to moisturize afterwards and style. What do you mean? Apply a leave-in or what before styling???

    Oh wow - I just NOW realized that you answered my question on here. Yeah, I use the baking soda wash before a hendigo treatment, and I think I am using color safe shampoos (at least, that's how they are advertised). I also often use conditioner as a co-wash instead of shampoo. And I generally only fully wash my hair once a week (not counting the cleansing I do right before a hendigo treatment), about 3-4 days after a hendigo treatment. Maybe I will try some of your shampoos and see if that makes any difference. Because I'm still having the fading issues. 😮‍💨

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Henna can sometimes fade over time as does any type of dye (weather and elements cause this or heat over time) and it also grows out so it’ll eventually come out on its own fully over time. Henna hair dye lasts 4-6 weeks but depends on hair growth.

      @@HennaSooq Hi - sorry, I have another question. You mentioned that your co-washes were color-safe for the henna, but in the descriptions of the co-washes I'm looking at, it mentions that they aid "in easily removing of henna hair dye" - so I'm not sure what is the right one to get that will help preserve the henna color.
