So ya idk if something is wrong w my bbgun or if i am still doing something stupid? :( :/ I am just gettin pissed cuz i don't wanna empy my whole dang box of cartridges. I think i have 8 left :(.

Wow thank you great demonstration. The first C02 cartridge I attempted I of course thought i didn’t wrong.. Now i just replace it and did with confidence w/ your help.🎉
Yo I have a question about exactly how an airsoft would work with a REUSABLE CO2. In this case the co2 gets pierced which makes sense, but how exactly would a reusable work? Is there a certain valve or?
Thanks man, really helps. Surprised to see an American doing a video on non lethal pistols, no offense intended, just thought it was a European thing making the best of what's legal!
nah no worries. ya i want a real gun but got a air bbgun for my bday last yr (cuz my hubby won't let me have a real gun) and i was finally getting used to it then now i can't get it to stop letting ALL the air out of my cartridge when trying to put in a new one. Hi I just purchased the Gamo p25 CO2 pistol. Is it recommended that I clean the barrel before shooting any pellets? With PCP rifles they always recommend cleaning a new Barrel of any kind of preservation oils that they use.
Damn. Mine has been in and out of storage for probably 20 years and ig a gasket went bad. Went to load it up to take care of a nuisance animal on my new property and it just empties a whole tank into the handle lol Back to the 25 year old pump rifle smh
Yes I've just bought gun and bit worried. But gun shop owner said once you hear hissing tighten it a little more but not too tight. But I'm sure at some point it stops hissing then gun is ready?
Ok but what do u do if your plastic part you grab to screw is broken and the screw will NOT go up no matter how hard u try to tighten it with pliers ????
Can u leave the can in when not in use? I heard from another source that it will damage the gun if u leave it in to long? But u can take it out without it emptying can you?
It is not a good practice to leave a partially used CO2 cartridge in the gun for more than 3 - 4 days. The bolt you tighten to push the cartridge up to the seal-piercing nipple will deform the silicone gasket which surrounds it, over a prolonged period of time, leading to its failure which will allow the gas to escape. Also, be careful not to overtighten the cartridge-lifting bolt. The best way I've found to charge the gun is to apply one tiny drop of gas chamber lube (silicone oil) to the top of the cartridge where it gets pierced, the first time you use a new gun, and then again after every third cartridge. Turn the gas cartridge lifting bolt just enough for the cartridge's nozzle to contact the piercing nipple, . This will stabilize the cartridge in the chamber. Ensure that the end of the neck of the gas cartridge is perfectly centered up against the seal-piercing nipple. If it's off-center, you'll ruin those components. Then, quickly turn it just a bit more. You'll hear a soft, short hiss but continue to tighten the bolt so that the hiss just stops. This takes about 2 seconds. Don't freak out when you hear the soft, short hiss. That is normal. You can then lift the gun up to an ear (unloaded!) to discern whether any gas is leaking. If it's silent, you're all set.
ya mine used to just do a little hiss, but now it releases ALL the cartridge so i have had to toss 3 or 4 bcuz of that. So i am reluctant to put any more in and keep trying so i don't waste any more cartridges. What am I doing wrong or what happened w my air bbgun? Help thx. I have only had it barely even a yr.
What does it mean if the CO2 cartridge pops out of the gun?? I’m trying to help my son set up his air soft gun and it launched across the room🙈🙉😳🔫did I over tighten it??
You probably failed to ensure that the sealed center of the neck of the cartridge was perfectly centered under the seal-piercing nipple. See my comment to Anime Legend, above.
The co2 typically lasts for about 50-60 shots for blowback pistols and about 80 or more for non-blowback ones. You should empty the co2 cartridge as it could damage the valve, if you want your gun to last with no issues that is. If you really want to leave some co2 in there I wouldn't recommend doing so for more than a few days. Of course, not on a regular basis either.
I put a hole in my hand with no mag in the gun it was simply just the power of the gas pressure from the co2 so dont think that u can aim it at ur hand with no bullets in it and c02 and shoot. U will get seriously injured
It's called a silicone gasket. It performs the same function as the gasket used in tire pressure gauges, which is to prevent gas under pressure from leaking.
