Exploring Berlin and Potsdam: Top Sights and Hidden Gems

📷 I visited Germany's capital Berlin for a staff training week at the Freie Universität. I choose to go a few days earlier, so I could go and explore the vibrant heart of Germany. In this video, I take you through the bustling streets of Berlin and the charming village of Potsdam, showcasing the best attractions and hidden gems in less than 2 minutes. Our adventure begins in Berlin’s city center, where we visit iconic landmarks such as the Bundestag, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, and the stunning Berlin Cathedral with short impressions of all the main sights.
On Sunday, I made a day trip to Potsdam, home to the magnificent Sans Souci Palace and its enchanting park. Often overlooked but just as interesting is the town of Potsdam itself with the St. Nicholas' Church, the Potsdam Museum, Stadschloss and its very own Brandenburg Gate. In the large Scholosspark Sanssouci, I went to the main palace, Neues Palais, Kolonnade mit Triumphtor and my very favorite: the Orangerieschloss.
