Can't ever decide which I prefer more - the story you've chosen to read, or your commentary and conversation afterwards. You've done it again, Master Walker. Another fine production!
Very enjoyable and informative--love your accents and the wonderous places you take us on your "ramblings". Thank you,Tony for all the hard work you do for us :0) and lots and lots of thumbs up!!!!!!
I'm not complaining about your accents. I like your accents. This story, which may be true, sounds a lot like the stuff of fairy tales. Thanks again for a story I haven't heard before. I looked up St. Andrew's Church in Lamas. What a beautiful church!
I am American. I do not do accents. I do not have the ability. I do not have a TH-cam channel. I am nothing like you. I do enjoy your channels, books, podcasts, etc. You do you! You are stealing the ship. Don't let them piss you off. I figure they are just jealous anyway. Thank you for your hard work and your patience. It is much appreciated 🙂
Hi Tony. Love both Classic Ghost Stories and Haunted places but I can only get to Haunted Places through your Classic Ghost story channel. I've tried just searching for you under Haunted Places..to no avail I love your rambles and totally agree about interaction with people as they are, whomever or whatever personality they purport to be. You can only react to what you are presented with. I do past life regression..I'm a hypnotherapist and I don't think it's necessary for the client to believe that they are accessing a past life. It's real or imagined and I have conversations with this 'past life person' and the reason they present is usually because of something that needs resolved by the client in this present life. I find it endlessly interesting
Love your accents...life is too short not to use accents. Accents stimulate imaginative minds...one voice is boring. Love me some accents. I'm glad people have different accents. I have a Boston, MA accent. My husband doesn't have an accent...it's all good.
Keep doing accents! As I am from the US, I don't really know U.K. accents except maybe Cockney and Scottish which I have to really concentrate on in order to understand. In the U.S., I don't think we really know when a U.S. accent is fake or not. Television acting is so ingrained in our culture, we don't know what's fake or not. Perhaps a little sad?
I think you are brilliant at accents and pronunciation and even though you didnt do the Norfolk voice here, the way it was written gave it that rustic flavour anyway. I cannot recommend too highly the late Joan Washington's brilliant documentary on You tube where she explains how hilly country and the mountains have sing-songy accents and the plains and flat lands have a more monotone intonation th-cam.com/video/ywg03b574oQ/w-d-xo.html Everyone should watch that :)
Tasmanian is a countrified version of Australian. Our resting shwa sounds like a Raven's "aar". Our vowels are :- aahy, oehee, oy, aowh, yoo. Our Ts are soft or Ds and we speak more slowly. "Or talk more slow". Kiwis clip their Is and they have a Munestry of D'fince, as opposed to a Minestry of Defence. Don't know if this helps. 🤷♀️ It took 3 goes to write. 😰
Oh you... Are the very model of a modern Major General... I think that someone could make a popular television story based around Tony Walker investgates. You are more interesting than Jonathan Creek. Tony solves the mysteries with his broad and varied experiences and good old fashioned gumshoeing. Set it in the English/British countryside, and you have Detectorists mixed with Wire in the Blood.

Isnt it?
It's an education for us, too, when you start 'digressing'. Often I like your rants better than the actual stories. 😊😎
The world is so interesting!
Be dauntless, Tony, and do the accents however you like.
oh. dauntless. I should be
Always an unparalleled joy.

I love the commentary after, it’s my favorite part of most of your videos ❤
Excellent, Tony! Love the rambles. I even enjoy your various accents. Thank you. How are Shade and the puppies? Tiny puppies are so fun.
They’ve opened their eyes
@@sleepy-folklore They will be running amok shortly!

I wonder if that’s because haunted places is so small? I had a last life regression once. I would quite like to try it again
If you have ever seen The Railway Children you would know about the Hare and Hounds and Paperchasing
I have but must have forgotten that bit

@Ludo Vica.
Woah! Thanks!
This is the kind of stuff I love.
I have a Tasmanian accent, (which I get out and polish on special occasions).
Very interesting indeed!
@@StoryVoracious I can only just about tell Australian from New Zealand. How does a Tasmanian accent differ?

I love detectorists. I don’t think I ever saw wire n the blood. I like Jonathan Creek though :)
McKenzie Crook made a real gem with that series. Not so much Worzel Gummidge; can't beat Pertwee and Bayldon on that one.
