Hope you enjoy your trip! First would be Apollon's Gold. Even though there's been a bit of mixed feedback on their coffee/shop recently, we'd be very curious about their new shop. Next is Sniite. The coffee was great and it's a more unique shop and feel. Third would be Coffee County. They had the best coffee we reviewed while we were out there. Cheers ☕️
I enjoyed this coffee, but I definitely thought his Kiamugumo AB was even better. Loved his Janson Lot 557 too. That one was amazing. For me, the nose on the Kii was really sweet and complex but the flavor was too lemony and bright for a Kenyan. My two cents. 🤷🏻♂️
Interesting. Too bright for a Kenyan, felt the other way so we certainly had some differences there. Seems we didn't get either the right Kenya or Panama to try 😅
Have a suspicion your backlog might be extensive (as a lot of ours is at the moment 😅) but it sounds like he has some promising coffees on the horizon here in the near future....
@@CoffeeReviews Yeah that was a joke. I am a bay area local and palo alto has the least affordable housing here, hence the joke. Didn't know we got a roaster here though, that's interesting and thanks for the info.
Gotcha, makes sense. Yup, believe it or not, we'd once looked into the Bay Area long before starting the channel and realized it was out of our price range 😅 hope you get a chance to try them soon! Cheers ☕️
Great review as always! Heading to Tokyo next week, top 3 places you'd recommend?
Hope you enjoy your trip!

I need to try his coffees when I get through some of my backlog

@@CoffeeReviews You know more about their promising coffees on the horizon than I do!

Palo Alto?!
Sounds like unaffordable 😅
Surprisingly fair priced. Think an automatic assumption might be that it's a bit pricey, but we didn't pay over $10 for either of the 100g bags we got
