This is a very good work around for getting the flattened tube length. Your website is not working for me.

This is ok for simple tubes but thats about it.

Found this very informative! But it's a decade old! And Solidworks still doesn't have a great flattening feature for tube that I'm aware of!
By the way, your website doesn't work anymore.
