My friends didn't believe believe I used to be able to clear this game with no deaths. They didn't even know Master or Master EX was a thing until the other day.
I know this comment is a half-decade old, but because of how amazing the original SMB duology really is, anyone could never be surprised I dropped a like!
Your really flipping awesome good at this game. I barely beat the 50 stage, and you got all of the Extras & Master stages, you got talent! Thanks for the nostalgic road-trip.
Yeah, Arthropod is just tourture. But Reversible Gear? EVEN TO THIS DAY, AFTER PLAYING THE GAME FOR OVER 15 YEARS, I STILL ONLY BEAT THAT STAGE WITH DUMB LUCK.
still funny how most of stages from beginner to expert are from the story mode, minus the other stages. and when I got the ending for completing master extra. Felt like the ending took place after the defeat of Dr. Bad-boon later on
Year late response, but Switch Inferno is consistent. Pressing a left wall/right wall switch will highlight every other left wall/right wall switch on the mini-map, so the intended solution is to hit a left wall switch, then a right wall switch, and then on your next attempt press one of the four switches that WEREN'T highlighted. It's very unintuitive but there is an actual solution.

What a perfect game! That was beautiful

Brandished? More like Banished from this plane of existence

It's not warpless. Level 37 is warp.
You jokester
OH FUCK WE HAVE TO BAN WARPLESS RUNS NOW BECAUSE THEY LIED!!!
lol
Jakub West joker xD
Jakub West clever girl
Yeah, wavy option its expert while arthropod, launchers and reversible gear are just "Advanced"
Reversible Gear is easy with practice. But yeah I can't believe arthropod is advance. Some of the master stages look easier than that.
There are hard levels?

Don’t think I’ve lost a life on reversible gear since I was 10. What y’all doing?
what's ironic those are the chosen stages based on the story mode too
This is seriously amazing. Major applause.
4:27 i died of laughter when i first saw this
completed expert on deluxe with 3 lives 5 continues felt like a badass ;___;
Hardest 10 stages in my opinion
10 - Long Torus
9 - Notch
8 - Train Worm
7 - Air hockey
6 - Synchronized
5 - Sliced cheese
4 - Helix
3 - Cylinders
2 - Dizzy System
1 - Nintendo
Warpless? -Expert 37 'Warp'
i c wut u did thar
Lol
Nice deathless run man! Impressive stuff! :P
Fun Fact, if you say no to using a continue during the Extra Stages (At least for Master), the end cutscene's dialogue is changed.
4:26 welp, you died... XD
Detour is SUCH a fun stage. My brother and I love to have fun on it. We'll keep missing the goal on purpose until time is close to running out. :)
only once was I able to hit green on Detour :P
I w_s never _ble to hit the green go_l. How do you do it?
pretty much the same way he did it, just gotta aim carefully and be patient doing so, it will take multiple attempts.
Missy Wiley A is *NOT* a bad letter/button.
Jack Sullivan It is in the A button challenge.
just beat master extras and it took a lot out of me yet you blazed through these so easily 😅
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after seeing some of the hacks you pulled off in this video
nice run this is so awesome you totally master helix and all stages
An equivalent deathless expert/master run on the original Super Monkey Ball: th-cam.com/video/2chtGwwJQwA/w-d-xo.html
still funny how most of stages from beginner to expert are from the story mode, minus the other stages. and when I got the ending for completing master extra. Felt like the ending took place after the defeat of Dr. Bad-boon later on
This guy makes these stages look so easy 😆
anyone else feel creeped out when AiAi was waving at 28:37, and then twerking on 28:41, and then then just sits down and chilling out on 28:44???
I thought it's cute.
Your technique is fantastic!
12:40 a warpless run is paradoxical, as it would have to not skip any levels yet skip this level.
I finished Expert, and now I'm trying to finish up Master.
It is so funny that a way you can beat floor 50 is to go stand at one point of the map and wait for the goal to come to you XD
Is Nintendo the only stage in the game where you don't start on the traditional long starter platform?
The bath world’s floor structure resembles none other than Green Hill Zone.
Lol, I was always thinking the same thing!
Did you see his life count? It says 100!
technically speaking it's 101, counting 0 as well.
How did you get 101 lives?
I completed an expert through master extra run on this game yesterday. But it had a lot of deaths and even a continue or two on master extra.
funny how cork screw clock face and planets were in the first one they decided to return in 2 for revenge
I HATED Switch Inferno for the life of me. Could NEVER make it past in Challenge nor Story mode. Do the switches actually change or is it the same?
Year late response, but Switch Inferno is consistent. Pressing a left wall/right wall switch will highlight every other left wall/right wall switch on the mini-map, so the intended solution is to hit a left wall switch, then a right wall switch, and then on your next attempt press one of the four switches that WEREN'T highlighted. When I first play Super Monkey Ball 2 on Gamecube I couldn’t pass Expert It was so hard to pass all the stages
why do you sometimes swerve to the side at the beginning?
It helps to gain speed faster than just going forward.
ohh i see
Deathless playthrough, keeps all 98 extra monkeys.
Makes sense to me.
If you’re trying to suggest this is somehow spliced, you should know that 98 extra monkeys means 99 lives since 0 counts as a life.
Any tips on how to do expert 37 warp? That stage still gives me trouble
Stay close to the bumpers and move slowly.
Ok, got it. And is the green goal worth it? If so, how do you get to it? Dumb luck? Lol
Louie Rippotack the green goal isn't worth it. The next level trampolines is a pathetic excuse for difficulty
I get the green goal on vortex instead lol. Just unlocked the master levels!
Give your control stick a nice thumbjob if you know what I mean. It worked for me.
9:48
That’s not a stage
How are you going to that.
Hi, Nathaniel.
@@PieCreeper12 lulz.
Expert 21 is Volcanic Pools 9
How many trys did it take to get a deathless run?
+Joe Stafford Around 20.
Jesus christ.
Nostalgic Allan Omg...
Poor Aiai at 4:08.
stage 47 of expert scared me
Make a video super monkey ball to stage 15 red goal jump to
I was worried about you on Helix.. you almost fell off :p
Yeah. It's difficult if you don't know what you're doing.
I thought u couldn't go to 100 lives in smb 2?
If you have the highest possible unlockable lives (99), then get 100 bananas, then you can have 100, 0 counts as a life.
Melting pot hates me ;-;
Expert Extra 7
basically expert 31-40 is just world 8
Huh you are right
A bored god plays Monkey Ball
Frame rate an issue for anyone else? I feel sick. 😷
Super monkey ball 2 levels are so much worse than super monkey ball 1
Didn’t even put effort into creating a zone for master stages
So, much, WITCHCRAFT
Level 13 isn't that hard.
Why don’t you choose the green or red goals they let you skip stages
Met Product33061 The blue ones let you play all of the stages
ur ok
Anton Sukhorukov ur a dummy hes beter den ok
