- Laura Bretan wows the country with her amazing voice during an opera performance on America’s Got Talent on Tuesday (August 30) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 14-year-old opera singer performed the classic “Pie Jesu” for the semi-finals round.
“Laura, I know this was the best vocal performance you’ve given so far in the competition. If you’re not in the finals, something has gone seriously, seriously wrong,” Simon Cowell said after the performance.
“Regardless of whether you’re a fan of this genre of music or not, what you can do, your vocal ability, is astounding. You could tear this roof off,” Mel B said. - เพลง

It's a shame that most people don't understand or appreciate this genre of music. She should have won this event because this performance, in my opinion, was one of the greatest female opera performances of all time.

This wonderful young lady is a gift from GOD in heaven just to show us HIS majesty! Not to take anything away from Laura Bretan but it is obvious to me that Laura has been blessed by a very special and unique gift that few possess. When I hear Laura sing Pie Jesu it is as if I am hearing an angel sing to me. Great emotion floods my heart and I cry out great praise to GOD thanking HIM for showing us HIS great splendor.

saw her at the first audition thought hmm this girl is rather special -- wonder how she will do late ages -- saw how dam good she became -- then i looked back at this and hell didn't I miss a once in a lifetime performance -- as later videos have shown the passion and hand movement is not trained its part of how she expresses herself -- this lovely person is a priceless treasure

The natural voice of Emanne doesn't help her too much because is too tiny for opera.
Laura's natural voice is the best classical ever born on this planet, she is NATURAL.

In the field of classical music, especially opera, the main factor is the capability of the NATIVE voice and, in this chapter, Laura is probably the supreme example ever born on this planet.
Even if it reaches maturity, Emanne's voice will be no more than a tiny common voice, a nice and educated one.
If Laura had a similar vocal training, I'm sure that now she was starting to sing pure opera on the greatest opera stages of the world.
You should also read our colleague's @Marianne Rosenström comment, from this topic. She vocally trains young opera talents.

I know I have posted this comment in others spreads about Laura Betran. What she does better than any opera singer is that she's makes me and her audience feel what she's feeling without ever understanding a words she's singing .Her heart is very much into what she does. And you feel it.

I've been following Laura since she was 7-8 years old because I felt she had something special and unique hidden in her voice as a child.
When Laura was almost eleven years old and her voice began to change, my suspicion turned out to be real. Back then she didn't have a voice teacher ( th-cam.com/video/tW7rYPvVgs4/w-d-xo.html ). Such a vocal gift is unique in human history.
In 2017, a few months after AGT, Laura was invited to perform in a concert with world-class professional singers:
-"Vissi D'Arte" ( th-cam.com/video/Lz42P-kujwI/w-d-xo.html ). An early 15 y.o kid's masterpiece, still clumsy, but brilliant, epic. 💖🎶

E drept ca si romanii au venit cu "capra vecinului" cand s-a pus problema sa voteze, daca a ajuns Laura la mila juratilor. You're delusional. Emanne has a weak voice. No matter how hard she trains her voice or how professional she is, because she is not gifted with a natural born voice.
Emanne will be never able to sing pure opera.

The words do not exist to sufficiently praise and compliment her impossibly beautiful, powerful instrument, but yours come the closest. God bless her and may she find the professional guidance to ensure that her gift is protected from over-use. I shake with emotion every time she lofts her voice between registers so easily and beautifully, but I also worry that she may inadvertently injure it. Hers is truly the sound of the angels.
