I've had mine for about 2 weeks. I was originally thinking I was going to return them, but I found myself using them more often. Especially for audio, sometimes earbuds make my ears itchy. And I have 2 dogs, having my hands free to take a photo or video or using voice to change tracks or volume is so convenient!
AI asisstant is useless. But having a wearable audio/calling with a decent POV camera was more useful then I first thought. Its nice listening to personal audio without having something right in your ear
I've had mine now for about 4 months and I totally agree with you on everything that's what I use mine for also but I'm really excited to get the multi-modal hoping to use the AI more than thanks for the video
these have the potential to be game changers for the low vision / blind community. If it will read menus, signs, crossing lights it wold be amazing.. Hopefully they open up teh glasses to some aps like Seeing AI to help us navigate our world more indepdnatnly.
They are a game changer for people who are visually impared. If you cannot see good, these are awrsome. The new multimodal mode is what ever blind person needs.
Thanks for the update. I've just ordered some, as I'm a full time glasses wearer and can justify the replacement. The prescription lenses cost from Ray-Ban is very hefty so I'm getting my lenses locally from an opticians for about a 3rd of the price.
Buy ear guards, and nose inserts for them. It makes it so they don't hurt your head or leave a red mark on your nose. It will also keep them from slipping.
Great video and i agree on all your points, especially the listening to music while jogging or driving. I've had mine since they came out and mine are prescription and transition. I love them and use them alot.
When they gonna make more styles than they will sell more . . . Many people like the Aviator style Myself as well When an Aviator style will be an option i will get one😅
My only issue is that AI is not enabled here in the UK. This does not affect the price, meaning I'd be buying product with limited functionality and paying full price. They look good IMO but without AI I'm not sure they are worth it. They look good on you btw.
It would be so simple for them to just make the camera have normal bluetooth camera functionality. Then you just have an external camera you could use for not JUST your streaming, but FaceTime, snapchat, literally ANYTHING that requires a camera. But they're not doing it bc I guess it's also part of the game that they're hoping this shoehorns some people into only using instagram or Facebook.
Do you have to keep your phone near the glasses in order to use the glasses? Also when your out and about not at home do you have to keep ON you cellphone 'Mobile Data", not on your home Wifi draining the GB usage in order to wear these glasses?
totaly agree on the earphone use case. I’m a biker / runner and for music and calls - 💯 though looking now for accessories for making sure it stays in place
I just purchased mine, (prescription glasses) and it was very expensive if not for my husband's insurance. It would have been $1200 without insurance, but with my husband's insurance, I only paid $190.
They are pretty water resistant, just don’t charge it until completely dry, they don’t have sand/dust resistance so be careful at the beach or something, they are about as durable as normal glasses any other way, they can survive a pretty high drop, but obviously if you tried hard enough you could snap it
Ahh this is what I was looking for! I’m looking at getting a pair long overdue a new set of specs. How water resistant are they in heavy rain and with sweat? I ask because it was stupidly humid last year and this year as been persistent rain.
@@steeveroyce2930 you can wear them in the heavy rain as long as you let it dry before charging, same with sweat, just make sure it’s dry before you charge it and you’ll be good

I just went on vacation with them and used the camera, video and texting features soooo much. AI didn’t work though cause it only works in US

Only reason I want them cause at work I can wear sun glasses but can’t wear headphones so I want them to play my music while working
You have a problem
Exactly the reason I want them. I even got bone conduction headphones and they won’t let me use them either. Sunglasses it is lol

Fine, I’ll get them!😂 I ordered mine and can’t wait! Btw. Loved the video but the thing I loved the most was your gorgeous dog!!!😍💕
Lol me to😂 just ordered after watching this and ur comment😅
Just wasted my 4 mins , listen to all non sense bullshit 😂

3:50 fully agreed. Worth the investment alone on that point. Perfect for on the bike.
Excellent calling headset. Doubles as a PoV camera
Got the multimodal. Great experience. No need to worry about other written languages anymore.
Use your phone for that
How to get the most out of your glasses. Step one: wear them… thanks for that
You’re welcome!

Your optician is making your prescription lenses? That’s neat! I should try asking mine
@@VRwithJasmine in the UK. EDIT: Switched to using an online company to get these cheaper
@Pugwash I'm looking at lensology, is that who you used or can you recommend another?
@@NuclearWarHistory I used lensology. They assured me they could handle Meta and did a great job with a fast turnaround.
@@Pugwash. thanks for getting back to me. Good to hear!

Any suggestions on which ones to buy? Im not a vet with glasses so would take suggestions :)
What colour did you get and what lenses did you get if you don’t mind me asking

They just released a new cat eye model and I’m getting them soon 🥰🥰 It’s only a matter of time until aviators come next 🤞
How do you clear the storage when it says storage is full
If they are squishing your head then they are too small
these rl look good on you

The AI sucks anyways
Why is AI not allowed in UK. Jeez. UK sucks so bad.

i sold mine didnt use them if they could live stream on tikcok or twitch would be crazy would get them again if they do
So authentic. Loved this review!
Thank you!
I have had them since November, and I love them. I wear them as much as I can.
great info and use breakdown. cheers
Glad it was helpful!
Cool beyond cool I have my pair for about four weeks now and I use them for a myriad of things in my real estate business👏👏👏

Ive had mine since the new year, still loving them
Aww you got them too?? Tell me some cool features if you find any
When you're on a phone call can the person you're speaking to see what your front cameras see?
Not on the phone but if you call using whatsapp or fb messenger, then yes.
Thanks don’t think I’ll purchase but thanks for the insight.
Does it support TH-cam Music?
😭no food content again😋WB
Shoot, was I supposed to show food content? 😂
Please use captions!
So adorable
Can I put my prescription lenses on them? Or are those special lenses made to work with the frame?
Yes, a friend of mine got his pair and had his prescription added to wear all the time.
I got mine today with the prescription. You upload your prescription but boy are those lenses expensive 😟

Mine have prescription transition lenses. They are awesome.
Are the glasses heavy on your face?
The first couple times I put them on, they were noticeably heavier than other frames but I got use to it
They not that heavy its pretty light to me, depends on a person
The quality of the camera is nowhere near an iPhone, or any other good phone camera, though. It needs a ton of light for reasonable images.
I made a video removing the led. It on my channel.
3yrs later might get brain 🧠 tumors 😊
I really, really hope not :(
thats what the research has shown, all wireless tech near the head, even the phone, which is the worst one@@VRwithJasmine
can you say more ? I actually think about issues between Bluetooth and body... However I think it should be fine just to record videos
How is the durability on the meta raybans like?

I am scared to get them anywhere near water
@@VRwithJasmine lmfao I was too, as long as you don’t go swimming with them for like 30 minutes they will be fine

The glasses is too small for you. You need XXL, your face is very wide.
The L felt too big. I wish they had half sizes but the S is definitely on the small side.
@@VRwithJasmine Did you try on bigger ones? XXL should fit just fine on you
let's compare with your face @@pimpdaddy7710
