Just installed my own. I ended up drilling a hole on each side through the lip and bumper and installing a rivet in each hole because I couldn’t get the sides to stick properly. It looks legit and I’m happy with the outcome.
I went and bought a different 3m tape so it could hold the sides

I really wished this lip was actual bumper material but it’s sadly just some weak flimsy plastic. If you barely I mean likely barely go like 1mph slow like a snail and touch anything like concrete the two outside rear pieces literally get damaged and loose at the ends. It doesn’t get like loose to where it can fall off but the two shaped ends literally start flopping around. This lip does make your front longer and side front longer so your normal judgement should increase. I installed my 2nd one cause it’s cheap to get. But definitely test the led’s first before you install them. The led’s are easily replaced with just two philips. Luckily my first one I didn’t throw away and I transferred it over. But again I hit a curb side ways yesterday and the led plastic broke off exposing led. I am going to use some glue to bind them back together. General tip is be extremely careful and use 2-3 inch double sided tape. Do not use the thin half inch or 1 inch double sided tape or the ends will just adhere to the bumper and not stick after applying. Again the plastic is extremely flimsy where you touch anything it will crack or break. If you are paying anywhere from $150-200 for this lip you are pretty much getting ripped off. Unless their version is actually real bumper material not some flimsy cheap crackable and breakable plastic upon some of the lightest impacts.
I just connect my to my sidemarker..so easy..
Just so you guys know you don’t have to splice any wires the wiring for the lights comes with pins and you can back pin into the connector. If anyone needs a video made I certainly do that but no need to splice the factory harness.

Great video man just bought one myself. I noticed you left the stock front lip on and there are some gaps between the new front lip and the actual car causing the white to peek out, is that because you left on the stock lip or just have to push the new one a bit more on onto your car? Thanks
If you have the sport hatch yes you will need to leave the stock lip on otherwise there won’t be a middle part to bolt the new lip on
Unless you upgrade to the si stock lip then you will have the best fitment
I tried installing with and without the stock lip
How long did it took you to install it ? And how is it holding up with just the 3m tape ? Im planning on getting one on my hatch as well. Btw your car is cleaaaan 🔥
About 3 hours and I also used screws at the bottom, unfortunately the middle part of the lip broke but I did hit a big pat hole

Yo bro, I’m confused on the wiring, is white constant power if you don’t want constant power where do you wire it ? I thought you could just cover it up with electrical tape and it’d be cool but I think it keeps draining my battery, so could you tell me where you put it ? Signal works fine but I think the white wire not being connected to anything is draining my battery
If I didn’t wanted to turn on all the time and wanted to be on and off when I want to
I would run it with the fog lights since we can turn on and off

ok for the indicator already connected, while I would like to connect the white wire to the DRLs, so that they are on during the day and not at night.
I have full LED headlights and I set the headlights to automatic mode.
What is the pin connector to connect to?
I have the same lip it’s really not that bad if it’s installed well

I'm looking into this lip because all my front lips have given up on me. How is this holding up. I know you're running on bags but I'm static so let just say I'm just praying it doesn't meet the same faith as my other front lips
So the lip finally broke in the middle front part but it took a lot for it to happen
I went on a dirt road at night and could not see the ditches and holes

Just installed mine. But wow anyone else having issues getting the sides to stick? No matter what I do it will not stick. It just literally let’s the side go. I’m not sure if it’s the material as I used the same 3m double sided tape to hold my rear led spoiler and rear top visor.
I went and bought a different 3m tape from autozone thats little wider
@@lusvinvaley It probably did need to be extra wide. The 2 size 3m
double sided tape was what I used. Probably will give that a try whenever I install my aftermarket intercooler later this week. I thought the thing would come with adhesive on it but sadly it didn’t I got mine off ebay for only $70. Others were selling it for like $130-$180.

What's the different on the one you got and the ones I see on Ebay?
Probably no difference
LED strips breakdown after a while depending how much you daily it… only had mine for 3 months and already have some light bulbs on the strip not working..

That wire placement makes me iffy…I would definitely want to see how long this lasts as I have sequential effects all around my 2018 SI from headlights, side markers, tail lights, led rear reflectors and spoiler. These are the type of lights I am after when it comes to cosmetics. Lol
So far still holding together but best way to drill and re-route safely
@@lusvinvaley Man I wonder what made them decide to have the wire in that location. Going over bumps or anything that latches it while driving. Probably the end. I’ll wait since it is version 2.

I got the front lip for my 2020 hatch but the sides doesn’t flush well to the fenders. Did you have this problem with your install?
Yes same issue I believe if you switch to the Si oem lip you will have better fitment

Was the wiring difficult. So that means it didnt come with instructions
No instructions but if you have some electrical knowledge it shouldn’t be that hard

Yes
To be honest, the lip makes your car look cheap. There are much better-looking lips for the Civic, but probably need to spend a little money than that ebay special.
100% agree but I like to ride low and wouldn’t want to break a 500 dollar lip
