    Al, you shouldn’t drop those heavy boulders in the tractor bucket, you’re putting extreme instantaneous shock loads on the entire loader and hydraulic systems.

    Not good for the TYM to drop heavy rocks or heavy loads in the bucket while it is in the air. I believe a hydraulic hose can burst from the sudden back pressure. Easy enough to leave the bucket on the ground when filling it!

    Good morning Lumnah family from a cloudy Pacific Northwest. Good morning viewers. So you're building a wood shed near where the wood boiler is. Cool! Nice potatoes Gina. I think it's funny the cows like to watch you dig up potatoes. It was fun to watch you move the rocks out of the way with the mini-ex. I like the idea of a retaining wall behind the new wood shed. That was a good start on the corner of the retaining wall! Here is the rain! Yum, meatballs! It's nice to have a Gina cooking show again. My husband likes to brown his meatballs before he cooks them in the sauce. They are very filling. I'm glad you got the debris cleared from all the rain so that your spring box is filling again. Too bad the rain stopped the progress on the building of the woodshed. I'm glad you got a good start. Thanks for this video Lumnah family!

    Your operation of the back hoe is pretty impressive. You have done this a time or two! LOL. I was thinking about one but not sure I would have the use for one. Not that you asked, but some food for thought for you...I would suggest taking that hill back to the same place as the hill behind the building beside the boiler. It will give you more room for unloading, storage, make your job of building the rock retaining wall easier and keep water further away from the shed. I like the idea of using the natural rock. As for your shed, I would suggest bigger for more wood storage as that way you have it dry and sitting there. You could also put sides on the thing to keep snow out. I didn't realize you had a spring well - cool. Will have to look for that video. Good video!

      I hope for good weather for you to get your end of summer chores done. I had a great weekend helping get ready and helping out at an antique radio swap meet. It was fun. My brother-in-law sold a bunch of old radio stuff so he was so happy! Now he has room in his box truck to move stuff out of his shop to work on the Subaru engine I want to drive back for my older son. Of course my sister's car radiator got a crack at the filling neck that's plastic so now she needs her radiator replaced. The saga never ends on repairs. We'll all be busy!

    About time Al. I suggested several years ago you build a wood storage & enclose the boiler. But I also suggested including room for a wood splitter. SERIOUSLY, 1 month supply ? You going to dry your firewood out under the snow again ? You're going to double (or more) the space you need to heat with your boiler. You're going to need double (or more) your firewood. Are you going through Jamaica again for your firewood shed ?

    Here's a hint on making more tender meatballs. Soak your bread crumbs or stuffing in enough milk so it gets completely absorbed. It becomes a kind of pasty consistency. Then mix the crumbs and milk into the meat mixture. No hard meatballs.

    Good morning. I have a friend that has a wood boiler and I helped him build a shed that covers it up and the smoke stack comes out the end. All his wood is under cover and dry. the walls are open and the roof is only a foot above the boiler. He loves it as he is always dry when filling the stove, takes his tractor and brings the wood in by the bucket load. Also the stove looks brand new as the rain never touches it.I have been bugging you guys about this for a year or two. Glad you are going ahead.I have NEVER saw so much rain - I should have built an ARK!! Ha ha ha!!

    • @terryhenderson424

      Yes ... from the comfort of my arm chair, ive been thinking they need some type of covering for the wood and a way to load the boiler under at least a little covering. However, again from my arm chair I made comments about some type of a place to cut wood and do some of the construction work other than the truck tail gate. Low and behold, a far bigger and nicer shop than I had thought up appeared. Well, Santa didn't bring that shop down the chimney but it went up pretty right and ready under the tutelage of one man, one woman, one kid, and some help.

    The rock wall should be in line with the house wall. That would give you room for a splitter & room to store your mower etc. Also if you built your shed over the wood burner you would be free of the snow when loading it.

    • @4Classie
      @4Classie 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Agree' except for putting wood splitter near woodburner, it will be easier and more orderly to just use a set of IBC-Totes for the firewood, it doesn't take much to grab onto when restocking and keeps mess ( mice and snakes ) elsewhere, further away from house !

    Al, I can’t help but think you should leave more space behind the wood boiler so you have space to work on it if you need to and the retaining wall is in your way. Better to have more work room, then trying to squeeze into a small area. You never know what might come up in the future.

    I would move the HeatMaster behind your current building and extend off your current roof to create your covered structure to keep all your outdoor necessities together, easy to get to and protected. Then, put Gina a covered parking area in the current area. Just suggests... Keep up the awesome job.

    • @4Classie

      Don't think that roof can be extended considering Snow weight, but earth should be dug out all the way back to besides house, cause easiest to remove dirt moving it downhill to level, and houses need all the yard useable available !
      As in just one straight rock wall !

    how you proceed…
