I'm 5'10, and this scoot fits me perfectly. Both feet on the ground at stops. Brakes are great, (2003, no antilock, but riding motorcycles for decades before they were on bikes, you learn not to mash them. The left brake is linked so it feathers both front and rear brakes together for efficient braking (the right brake is just the front). and its pretty nimble in town. Center of gravity with the engine and drivetrain are lower. I suppose that if you are used to riding dirt bikes or scooters 250cc's or under, this will seem a handful. It's around 500 pounds. You get used to it quickly. I use it to commute mostly on the freeway one hour roundtrip. Can ride all day freeway/interstate speeds, plenty of power for passing. Another benefit, the trunk has a lot of space, so I use it for grocery runs and rarely used my truck during lockdown. Another benefit? No chain to mess with!

The rear slab has indents on the underside to match up to Givi mounts. It IS intended to act as luggage rack.

Thanks I was wondering about that, I thought there's no way Honda missed out on a obvious future luggage mount. ✌️

A sofa on wheels, a bombproof ride all day at 80 mph. No, it's not a Hayabusa and was not in competition. Keeping em both though.

Yes, Honda is more than "realible", it's "reliable"!

Motorcycle guys doing scooter reviews. That's like calling the Geek Squad to discuss how to shod your horse.

not true. Silver Wing isnt easy to maneuver in city. Very heavy scooter. Breaks are really poor.

My experience is the opposite. Brakes are great, and its pretty nimble in town. Center of gravity with the engine and drivetrain are lower. I suppose that if you are used to riding dirt bikes or scooters 250cc's or under, this will seem a handful. It's around 500 pounds,

Die hard motorcycle riders will never comprehend why die hard scooter riders DO pay over $10k out the door after all the taxes and what not. I love motorcycles, , , AND the big touring "Maxi-Scooter". So I own both & buy USED for 1/4 to 1/2 the price. :-D It does not matter WHA you ride, as long as you enjoy what you are riding and RDE!!! :-D
