The dash cam rear view option is beneficial for Cab/Uber drivers. In cases a passenger decides to rob them, at least they are being recorded and can be identified.

Jason Loera I drive for a living and had 4 drivers in 2019 cause an accident and each time the cop never even cared to ask about it or the other party’s insurance company and if I was to be at at fault their would of never proof I had one unless I voluntarily gave them that information.....
