I'm Irish, and my dream has always been to go to a good college (such as Harvard) and this is super helpful even though Ireland is not in th UK! Thank you so much!
I am an IGCSE and A-Level student and I have 3 questions that I hope you can answer(I know this is a late comment :( ) 1.) does the application process differ from the IGCSE side??? 2.)Will you do the SAT's after or before you apply?? How and when do you do the SAT's after you finish up IGCSE and A-level and graduate school? 3.) Is it harder to apply for harvard as an international student?? Is it possible to go there(I get stressed a lot about this)?
Being an international student can help you get in as most ivy league universities like international students as it opens their uni to other countries
if you have a degree (bachelor of science in biomed) from the UK and apply to Harvard medical school which is a graduate program, do they check undergraduate grades such as A levels or modules/degree classification? I couldn't find anything on the Harvard website that could elaborate.
@@keanadezoysa9257 technically you can although degrees from the US and Canada are strongly preferred. They even go to the extent to say "Every effort should be made to take the majority of required courses at an accredited college or university in the US or Canada. In any case, at least one year of full-time academic work in the US or Canada is required." If you do apply, you would need to write an essay, take the mcat, achieve a 1st and be involved in some biomedical research.
Thank you so much for this. So to clarify, I go to the university of Manchester and study Molecular Biology and I’m on track for a 1st, but my A levels are not amazing, would I need to do a year of study in the US as well on top of my degree? Also did you ever apply to the US?
@@keanadezoysa9257 I dont think A levels are relevant if you are applying with a degree, as it is your most recent qualification. They need their own admissions scores and probably evidence of modules that make you a suitable candidate, similar to med schools in the UK. I didnt end up applying to any medical schools outside of the UK as little is known about medical schools abroad. I imagine with the emphasis they place on studying in the states it is compulsory however its obvious that not all international applicants are going to have studied in the states prior to applying. I would need to see an official freedom of information document to accurately determine likelihood of getting in without having a year of study in the states or phoning someone involved the admissions team for Harvard.
Let it shifts to London Harvard University campus and to Emirates flight attendant in crews shift to Islamabad Lahore here's I'm sorry for nothing but love husband Child
