One thing i like to do with the pulp from juicing is make fruit leather. I just spread it on the leather trays for my dehydrator and dry it until the moist spots are gone.
I also didnt stick to the challenge this year. I feel like I work out of my pantry daily anyway. I limit my store purchases year around so between my pantry, food pantry items, i rarely spend more than $100 a month on food We also dont cook every day. Every cook usually feeds us at least 2 dinners sometimes 3. So Im only cooking 2 or 3 times a week
❤Hi Deanna! I love watching you ! Secretly hoping for a "if you don't have anything nice to say" video, but glad most are behaving now! LolIm not bored ! I'm happy to tell you I got a pressure canner for Christmas( haven't took it out of box yet, I'm alittle scared,! I don't know how yet but want to learn! Maybe make meats and meals shelf stable,to free up space in my freezer, in case I find good deals on meat butter etc. Or sometimes get a lot of something at food bank. There's 2 of us & a dog and a cat, can't use 25 lbs of carrots(etc.) all at once! And or I make big pots of chilli, veggie soup, etc.& dont want to eat it for 2 weeks straight!Anyways I 'm watching all of you gals that can so I can learn! I probably should invest in the Big Ball Blue book but I learn more by watching I think! Wondering if I can can pasta dishes like spaghetti, Johnny Marzetti(some call"goulash", but it's different, hamburger onions peppers, garlic, tomatoes, sauce or juice, egg noodles, but my grandma used elbow macaroni(I think she kept elbows mostly, on hand,so that's what we're used to, but I can't cook small amounts! It'd be nice to have ready meals that are shelf stable ,for if we'd .lose electric we wouldn't lose all our food. And we could heat it over a candle if. Need be! It makes my day when I see a new video from you! You, grandma and the chick's make me smile (& giggle!) I wish I lived closer, I would take care of grandma, so you and Addie could have some "you" time. But I'm across the country in Ohio😢 Take care, see you next video😊
Ya know, you say the chicken discovered the vastness of the house on her own but that sounds suspiciously like grandmas influence on the chickens if you ask me.
If you’re not enjoying making a certain type of video, don’t make them! We enjoy everything you post, but you need to enjoy it too! But girl, we know that you are not sitting around eating bonbons! 😂
Thank you for sharing your time saving hints
Great looking food!
I love what you make! You are a hoot and a breath of fresh air! Please don’t spare us!
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one in the three Rivers challenge that visits food banks. Your food looks delicious.
You are always entertaining in your videos!!! I am sure it takes alot of energy also , so you do what is best for you!
