if your mics interface hitting the red then its too high. make sure you turn the mic down by -6db or lower. then after that turn up your overall volume on the interface to hear yourself better. or if you got a loud beat just turn the beat down -6.5 db and record till you Finish. then in the mixing stage it'll be way easier to mix cause you can level everything back out how you want it💯
