    EBMM Rules of Engagement:
    1 - Receive feedback of desire for variants of existing model platforms
    2 - Release a few dozen of said variant for a few months' salary
    3 - Conclude that the market doesn't exist for such variants
    4 - Never build a production level EBMM or a Sterling variant

      @@TaxEvader420 haha not quite but there’s a good point to be had here. Like, what do you get with this guitar that you don’t get with a Schecter or LTD baritone? I mean the answer is half the guitar. You could literally buy a Schecter and LTD, both with cases for the price of this thing. And seriously, what’s the difference in quality? What a flame maple neck? Really is that what you’re offering for $3k+?!?! Hell my uncle has a Firefly he paid $250 for that has a STUNNING flamed roasted maple neck. Not just the neck. It’s a whole ass guitar for $250. But we gotta charge a down payment for music man guitars?! wtf?! These people are out of touch and out of their minds!!!

    • @smeemusic
      @smeemusic หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@TaxEvader420 yeah okay. Thats an example of spending $3k on a guitar that I could at least wrap my head around. Getting a guitar custom spec’d out for yourself down to the wood. Yeah I can see someone spending that and it being “worth it” I mean that’s kinda like having a Rolex or something. Just that one nice thing a person might want to own thats specifically for them. Yeah I can march the beat of that drum. But to casually spend that much on a music man that you don’t even get to choose any of the parts or wood for. Like what are you even spending that much money for?! There’s literally nothing special here to offer. Hell the finish is even super vanilla. It just looks super uninspired. They didn’t seem to even try to innovate. Hell they dumbed this one down. No coil splits or taps. No multiple voices. No evertune. No exotic pretty woods. Just a standard baritone guitar with a decent neck.
      I mean if music man has something special to offer that warrants such a heavy price tag, they are doing a poor job getting that across in marketing. Seriously this is a meh okay baritone at best. They probably should start paying more attention to the competition.

I think I have 2 guitars and 2 sets of studio monitors and monitor stands that were new when I purchased them. Oh and cables most of my cables were new also. I did used to work at a club as a foh engineer and people in bands would just throw cables away when they would break on stage. At the end of the night I’d grab that cable out the garbage and bring it home and resolder it. Boom new cable!!! Those little fuckers can get expensive. Hell yeah I’ll take a freebie!!!! But everything else I got, several amps, several cabs, collection of pedals, several guitars and basses. All of it was used.

    No, Aucoumea klaineana is not closely related to Swietenia Mahagoni in any way shape or form. They do not even belong to the same family of trees (Swietenia is in Meliaceae, Aucoumea in Burseraceae). Nor are the physical characteristics of the two woods similar at all.
    If you squint slightly, they look somewhat alike, and thus the marketing department goes ‘yeehah’. Claiming mahogany is, at this point, the oldest trick in the wood trade.
