GBO2 Efreet Nacht: 350 cost stealth ninja raid!

  • This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV4 and LV2 Efreet Nacht. It is a 350-500 cost raid with access to LV3 Stealth, a heavy stagger, decent chip damage/stun accumulation with an arm gatling gun, a heavy staggering double kunai, very high damage 3 hit combos with the dual swords and high mobility. It suffers from very low HP, Jamming which somewhat gives away its position, not that great damage if you don't have time for 2-3 hit combos along with having an instant stun with end lag which makes it hard to combo into melee. This suit is pretty fun. It basically relies on using Stealth and its high mobility to get around the map into good positions to ambush enemies. It isn't that good in head on fights but can really excel if it is able to stay sneaky. I hope that you enjoy watching!
    Its primary weapon at LV4 is an arm gatling gun with 149 power, 33 ammo, 507 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 200m range, 1259 DPS and 6% stagger value. This has good DPS and can stagger in about 2 seconds. You should use this sparingly though, since using it basically disables your stealth and leaves you wide open.
    It can choose between a single sword or dual swords for its primary melee weapon. The single sword has better base power while the dual swords have great combo modifier. The dual swords at LV4 have 2185 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 95%/90% combo modifier, 50%x2 side swing modifier and 70%x2 downswing modifier. These do incredible damage if you can manage to get a full 3 hit combo off, but if you need to make a quick get-away then it would be better to go for a two hit combo or just a downswing.
    Its first sub weapon is a thrown kunai with 1150 power, 2 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 250m range, 15 seconds of radar jamming and 20% stagger value. This has low damage but instantly staggers. It has end lag after throwing where you can't swap weapons, making it difficult to confirm against enemies with dodge rolls. The dual swords can get around this issue because they have a side swing with two hits, making it easier to restagger suits with dodge rolls.
    Its second sub weapon is a double kunai with 1200x2 power, 2 ammo, 15 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 150m range and 20 seconds of radar jamming time. These have shorter range but higher power compared to the single kunai. They also stop to fire, but in return they heavy stagger the enemy.
    The LV4 Efreet Nacht has 15000 HP, 16 ballistic/beam resist and 32 melee resist. It has high melee resistance, but low HP and mediocre ranged resistances. This level of HP makes it so that you are almost certain to be killed in one combo by generals, especially since you lack Emergency Evasion. You do have LV2 Maneuver Armor though.
    In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) walking speed, 220 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 66 (72 including affinity) turning speed. This is really great mobility, even for 500 cost. It even strafes at 100% speed in all directions, making it easier to play around cover. It only gets 220 boost speed and 65 thrust at 500 though, having 215 boosting speed and 60 thrust at lower costs. It also has LV1 Forced Injector.
    It also has access to LV3 Stealth. This makes you disappear from the enemies radar as long as you are not attacking. Using this well is crucial, since you are very disadvantaged fighting most suits head on.
    Unfortunately, this stealth is paired with LV2 Jamming. This reduces radar range of enemies within 250m. It also nullifies High Performance Radar, Anti-Personnel Radar, Fake Beacon and Observational Data Link. This has some alright benefits but these do not outweigh how it affects your stealth abilities. If the enemies see their radar being jammed, they know that you are close and likely going after their support. So be wary.
    Overall I feel that while the Nacht isn't super good or anything, stealth ability can let it survive better than most raids can in a meta which is pretty hostile to raids. It is of course a bit of a gimmick and has counter-play; such as Anti-Stealth skills, pinging weapons or even just players listening carefully. If everything works out you can just bypass dealing with the generals all together and quickly kill the support. But, it has always on jamming which basically alerts enemies that you are within 250m of them. At best I think it is a decent suit, but at worst it is a squishy raid that can end up feeding enemy generals if not played properly. It might be nice for it to get +1000 HP and the ability to toggle the jamming on and off, if they do decide to buff it that is. I think it is worth trying out for experienced raid players, as long as you are playing on a map that is friendly to stealth plays. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

    As someone who love the Nacht, even if the jamming gives the position, it can also distract the enemies and break their formation as you can trick them to pursuit you and then in 1v1 you can beat the general if you don't miss the kunai x)

      I appreciate the mindgame potential there. Maybe for a skilled Nacht player it can be turned into an advantage, but even then it would be nice to be able to toggle it on and off. Sometimes you just wanna be hidden.

      @@avenger1_gbo260 That's true, against experimented opponents, I can become just stuck hidden or just being ambushed myself. In this case, I usually stick with the generals (or support) to help stunning or downswing in the crowd. Then when we have superiority or opportunity, I start to go to the support. But yeah, my default is being too passive sometimes x)

    I wish people started using this instead of dumbass Pixie all the time if they really feel so inclined to use a stealth raid, at least Nacht has some affect on team battles due to the heavy stagger and jamming being useful when you're close to your team

  • @lighthadoqdawg

    oh I absolutely /adore/ the nacht. I prefer single blade to double. the downswing is cleaner and I can avoid knocking down teammates.
    this is my favorite raid in 350 an I even use it in higher costs if I feel i can get away with it. my experience is that even if jamming gives up that you're close, people still tend to get confused on just /how/ close you are and yoru position, so You can use it to scare them and give your allies openings too.

      Not sure why my reply is gone, but tldr; the wiki does have a page for the Nacht type of Efreet, and it does mention Cold weapons.
      It uses them to avoid heat detection, for better stealth.
      Other Efreets do use Heat (darts or blades, I think)

    I hated fighting this suit when I was first starting out on PC. It felt like I saw it in every match and it just pubstomped me and my fellow newbies every time, it made me so mad 🤬

    • @avenger1_gbo260
      @avenger1_gbo260  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I think it is a bit of a pubstomper, most stealth raids tend to be. They are strong if they can stay hidden from the enemy, just ambushing and running away after. For people who haven't developed situational awareness for GBO2 yet, they can be really difficult to deal with.
      They are weak in head on fights though. So if you can hear where they are or they reveal themselves on radar by attacking then you can potentially force it into a 1v1. If you are a general with good stuns and melee damage then you can even kill it in one combo.

    • @avenger1_gbo260
      @avenger1_gbo260  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Double. Single does more damage but only if you are doing single hit combos.
      I prefer the double blades cause they are the only way you can kill supports in one combo. They do tons of damage in 3 hit combos.

      @@emiliodeguarda2005 The following applies to the LV1 Efreet Nacht with the standard 30 melee modifier, before enemy melee armor or type advantage/disadvantage. They both have the same 0.5 second swap time.
      Single blade downswing: 4186 damage. Single blade neutral+downswing: 5083 damage. Single blade neutral+side+downswing: 5576 damage.
      Double blade downswing: 3458 damage. Double blade neutral+downswing: 5755 damage. Double blade neutral+side+downswing: 7928 damage.
      The double blade does significantly more if you can get 2-3 swings in. It also gives you other benefits, like the 50%x2 downswing making it easier to stun them before they can roll after a kunai throw.
