I find it worrying that this lady had been driving on an international license without really knowing the rules of the road. How many more are doing the same ?
Most commonwealth countries can drive on their country license for the first year. Most of them also fail their driving test in the first attempt in the UK😂
its terrible honestly, numerous of times Indian drivers just pull out in front of me almost hitting my car without checking the mirrors as they expect to hear a beep instead, I personally think countries that don't have similar roads and rules should not qualify for 1 year of driving in the uk, it's beyond me..
some people in Scotland use the hazard lights for a thank you but only having them on for a second or 2 for giving way to another driver when you don't have to
Well in Greece we use the hazards for parking, stopping, double parking but rarely when there is a problem 😂 don't you hate not knowing what other cars want to do? Where are you stopping or parking, or do you have a problem with the car? You never know. In terms of indicating, this doesn't get better; you never know where they are going. Some indicate last second or even after they've turned 😅. Most though don't indicate at all
Can I take my driving test in my own car, which is insured under my international license, without having learner insurance? If my car is insured under my valid international license, do I need to put L plates on it for my driving test? Do I need to be accompanied by a qualified supervising driver with a full UK license? Will the driving test examiner check my international driving license?
Yes you're right we still have it in Australia but there are numerous other maneuvers you can be asked to do instead. In Qld you can't use the driveway for a 3 point turn.
Does anyone know if i can tax and insure a car on my provisional licence and if i can park the car on the road for a few weeks? Without it being towed? My driving test is not till next few weeks and ive just been offered an unbelievable deal on a very decent car, i want to buy it and park on my street as we have no driveway, till i get my license
You can get insurance with a provisional but cannot drive it unless you have a fully licensed person with yu in the passenger seat 👍🏼 Just realised how long ago your comment was made looool hope yu passed
can someone please explain how 6:19 is good lane discipline ? im not being arrogant or anything im genuinely curious as you're meant to enter out to the lane on the left not in the middle the floor markings even travel in that direction. however people from the middle lane always cut around the left around the roundabout towards a449 even though the markings clearly state ring road straight on with an arrow pointing straight and the right lane with a arrow pointing right stating a449. if you look on google earth the manoeuvre in this video and driving i spot everyday cause near miss collisions all the time because people don't know how to take this roundabout.
I done my test yesterday in my partners car which is a mercades a 35 premium plus I passed my test but in the first 10 mins I accidentally scrapped the back alloy against the curb giving way to oncoming traffic and on a tight corner, I thought I had failed then and there but was more worried about what I had just done
Just one thing that makes me slightly nervous for somebody that hasn't got a British licence yet! I don't know if I want such a nice car for my first one
Agreed. It astonishes me how many people pass their test (or are still learning) and they go out and buy a brand new or newish car (often on finance). The chances are they will crash it or at least scratch it. More money than sense a lot of people. Everyone should really buy a cheap bucket of bolts for the first year or two so if they damage it, they don’t care too much. This lady seems to have a license in another country though so it’s not like she is brand new to driving.
@@Born2007I disagree I passed 9 months ago and ‘touch wood’ haven’t had a accident and I brought a brand new car in Feb lol did have a rubbish car for the first 6 months though
@@harisankarb3403 yes but they’re trying to phase out manual cars anyway, so in the long run, those passing in auto transmission are smart for anticipating the change.
I’m not even British but this is the exact reason why people coming from a country, that uses a different way of driving, MUST not be allowed to drive in the UK, unless they’ve passed a test that says they’re good enough for your roads, if you say, what about people who come for a brief time to work? I couldn’t care less, they can take a bus, taxi, bike or train to move but definitely not a car, safety first.
It’s difficult to see because of the cut and I don’t know the road but I didn’t see the stop line, so it could be that the traffic light is a repeater for the traffic coming straight, not turning.
I have passed my test with 2 minors and now I enjoy driving both at night and day. Thank you so much as your videos were so useful. See driving videos here th-cam.com/video/9WMl9DUZpZU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wl7wD4g0M-Hib-SX

Most commonwealth countries can drive on their country license for the first year. Most of them also fail their driving test in the first attempt in the UK😂
i changed my license to a uk license with no test or lessons, i was surprised at how easy it was to just do it like that
@salik5185 There are a few designated countries for which this is applicable, but most other cou tries have to give a driving test.

It's so good watching these videos being part of those who have now passed the driving test 🥳🥳🥳
4:00
The check engine light chime 😂😂😂😂😂😂
More likely service due than check engine.
I love her honesty
Why?
How did she not notice the 6 red lights, I know its probably a new area, but that was pretty bad.
Because they changed right as he told her to follow signs which distracted her more than it ought to, she admitted signs are a weakness.
Some African countries drive on right hand side of road, consequently it is handy to know from which country they have come from.
She has good basic driving ability but it needs a lot of tidying up before her test.
And she seems aware of her faults and took feedback positively. She'll be fine with a few touch ups.
Pin scared for his life without dual controls, now that's the videos I'm in for
Passed my theory can't wait to just focus more on practical

As a matter of interest, why don't they do 3-point turns anymore?
6:45 my pals gf got a serious for that, pulled off a roundabout in the right lane, then got undertook by a driver.

You are going to destroy that gearbox if you simply put it in Park on a slope without first engaging the handbrake.

Do you allow taking driving test on automatic transmission cars in the UK ? In my opinion every country should conduct the tests only on a manual
Yes we do and there's nothing wrong with that. Driving is more about safety and awareness then the gearbox of the car.
