I love how gear stick shook back to neutral 🤣. Doing lots of rookie mistakes, it's very easy to spot signs and markings as viewer or passanger, but when you drive under stress it's super hard. Eventually he'll pass!
Yeah and he’ll cut me off like yesterday I was driving some uncle started creeping out from a side road into a main road, no indicators no sense of awareness. I hate so many of these drivers about 70% of drivers need to retake their tests

He never said how long he's been learning, but the fact he thought he was ready for a test is a little scary😅 His driving is something I would expect from someone who just started. But I hope this test proved to him that he needs more time.
I’m shocked how many people think they are ready for a mock test when they can’t do the basics….scary. These videos are brilliant and must be very helpful to learners with a clear visual of real situations and clear explanations of what’s happening and what the driver is doing right and wrong at each point. I’ve been driving for 39 years, I am a class 1 hgv driver and a bus driver, I would love to see new drivers being educated in how to drive when they are near to large heavy vehicles. If there is some understanding of how these vehicles move and the room they need then the safer these new drivers can be. Instructors might benefit from spending some time with a truck driver in a truck for the experience and this would benefit them in training new drivers in how to anticipate where a truck is going according to its position in the road, for example, a truck may well need to position far right to make a left turn as this room is needed for the trailer to turn, but so often, even with the indicator on, cars will still drive down the gap to the left of the lorry, even if the lorry has taken up both lanes, they will squeeze down the side, this puts the car in the lorry’s blind spot and in a dangerous position. If you see any large vehicle taking up more space than you think they should, just hang back and give them room to do their move until it’s clear because they will have positioned themselves like that for a reason
Just thought I would come say hi pin, been passed and on the road for a year and half now and still hear watching your videos and still subscribed to it too.
Love watching your videos, back when I passed we drove for 40 minutes and then had 3 questions done deal. Would love for you to assess if I could pass today 32 years on lol
@DGNDriving I learnt something new today that just becuase you have a green arrow, if there is a give way after it you need to give way to traffic from your right. However, we have a similar type of junction in Wigan however the broken lines are not give way but just the end of the carriageway markings. PS I know this as I asked the person who did the junction
Pin is a legend and as for ken he is like Tyrone in snatch a proper get away driver. Pin should have took the hint when ken pulled up at the bus stop. He should have given ken his BFH, bus fare home 😂
Hey Pin I noticed that you didn't reveal who the winner was of the previous video! Love your content btw its helped me so much. I am hoping to take my driving test soon, 2nd attempt and have learnt so much from your videos so a MASSIVE THANK YOU! Keep doing the videos, its amazing! Best wishes to you 😊
Very unlikely to have a test in a car you've never driven, so I honestly think people should get 15 minutes to warm up in this car before filming starts.
Amusing watching this after my first post-graduation long drive (although I only get to drive for work purposes and not often, and in an automatic. Oh well, manual lessons were cheaper)
12:35 I'm not from the UK and I have never driven on the left side of the road in my whole life so don't judge me too harsh for asking this but why does he have to obey the give way sign if the traffic lights are already green? Isn't the give way sign mounted there only in case the traffic lights are not working? Or maybe is this only a traffic light for pedestrians? Am I missing something? Either way this setup seems very confusing to me. I've never seen something like this
The traffic lights have nothing to do with give way lines. Give way lines are their own separate rule, regardless of where they’re found. They’re designed to give priority to oncoming traffic from the right or both directions. In this case, the traffic from the right is merging in with the main road because entrance from the right is at an angle. It’s a large bend, which means that cars merging from the right also need enough time to position correctly on the main road without affecting other drivers. So traffic on the main road going straight ahead must stop at the give way line to keep traffic from the right flowing and to avoid collisions. Road signs in the U.K. don’t function symbiotically; Each sign or road marking represents its own rule. Hope this helps.
@@ReeRee_Donita I now see that the rules are very different indeed. But why are the traffic lights there if they don't control cross traffic? You see for someone who has never seen this setup he would assume that because the lights are green that those coming from the right have a red light
@@Agro_Tech_Future This would be the least of my problems. Driving on the left side of the road in a right hand drive ( and shifting gears with the left hand) would be a nightmare for itself xd
@@Agro_Tech_Future Still doesn't make any sense to me why those traffic lights exist if the cross traffic doesn't have a red light? All in all why is the light green if you have to stop again for the sign?! Makes absolutely no sense to me. There's no logic at all behind this. It would only make sense if the lights were out of order imo
@@Agro_Tech_Future ..Traffic light is green and you can go, but give way sign is telling you to be careful from the right and stop,,, This is exactly what makes zero sense for me. Traffic lights should be put for a reason. If the give way sign is the only thing that counts what's the reason of having traffic lights there? Why does the city not remove the lights and just leave the give way sign?
Well, most learners can at least get the car to move, unfortunately Ken couldn’t always do that!! He needs to take proper, professional lessons and lots of them.
