Awesome vid ! I’m dealing with the same issue on my AMG . Where’s a good place online to buy replacement parts at a good price ? . And does your Benz have the active damping ? If so do you ran into issues lowering itself etc after replacing the front shock ? Thanks so much 🙏
Thank you for liking my video. In the video, I show you how to replace the front air suspension shock on a Mercedes CLS-Class W218. If you need to buy replacement parts, you can find them online at Amazon or eBay.
Air struts changed and now the air suspension button on the center console stays lit , but cannot raise or lower and pressing the button doesn’t change the light to lower position. Any ideas?
I am having trouble removing the T-40 screw connected to the stabilizer link. Can you tell me please when you hold the nut with 18mm wrench and loosen the T-40 screw, do you turn the wrench to right or to left to get it loose? I can't see clearly in the video; can you please respond to this question asap cuz I tried working on my car 2 times and couldn't deal with the T-40 screw. I even broke 2 of T-40 screw driver bits in the process and I am beginning to think that I am turning the impact wrench the wrong way (left). I'd appreciate your help on this.
Use boxend wrench 18 mm to hold the nut turn the wrench left while you turn the T 40 torque socket with the wrench right so you turn them opposite and it should open up. Thanks for watching and good luck with your DIY.
