The massive Sturgian sat on the castle’s throne, listening to the translated tales of a robed warrior with a blade that seemed to cut through the norn’s strings of fate itself, a horn of mead gilt with Aserai gold in hand. It was a trophy of a raid that the visitors to his court had presented as a gift, but the greatest gift was this tale. What treasures were to be had of the great cities of the sands, what wisdom and knowledge hid within. Would they reveal something greater to Ray Cease that he had not known before? Would it be a key to treasures he had never yet considered? Or was it all a trap…an inglorious end to what many of low birth, those who did not know the dance of the sword song, consider to be a god of war? “Those Vlandian dogs have tried time and again to take their treasures,” one of his thanes said, a long axe balanced on armored shoulders. “And the empire flowers of their courts are often covered in such finery, silks and candles and perfumed like bedwarmers. Do you think they employ these killers in the shadows?”
Just finished this game this morning. Weird coincidence, hope you had a good time! The bugs were horrible and the flood of NPC's in the last missions that hit you and stagger you made me almost quit. But i can now move on to the sequel. Thank god. For a 2007 game it's alright but very raw.
