I love this channel, one of my favorite on TH-cam. Ryan is a genuine dude. He treats his staff with respect and you can just tell that by just looking at the crew get along and all happy laughing together. Having a good work environment is the biggest thing I look for tbh in any work force, keep it up!
i gotta be honest. last year i wasnt impressed with Marcell at all. but this year he seems to be your main go-to guy. looking good Marcell. its surprising you didnt put plywood over the grass. having a roof makes a big difference with a wood stamp i think. like you said, it looks like an indoor space, even though it isnt.

Yes I like the wood planking look on certain jobs I also like broken edge on steps and porches with overhang edges and again on certain jobs were it matches the home and landscape …. Great job Ryan and Crew

The "wood" stamp looks great with that color scheme and theme. I think you're right when you say that it would look very different if it wasn't a covered patio area. In that instance, I think it's very fitting. I can see that it wouldn't look right in a lot of other scenarios.

I'm half way through the vid and I noticed that even though this customer obviously has some serous money still has respect like when he asked you about the topsoil and asked if you would have time to do people with money around act like they are better than everyone and pretty much demand stuff to be done
@@adamsaville3318 no he does he did like his driveway that patio under the deck and the barn and stuff but that doesn't matter here where I live have a cousin that drywalls (my whole family does) and was doing all this big companies work and had been for like 3 years and the owner one day just started treating him like dirt because my cousin wanted to get paid before he started the next job which was 2 weeks after he finished the previous and the owner was like you think I don't have the money!?! My cousin was like no I didn't say that I just want paid for the job I did and the owner was like I could buy your whole family! And that's where my cousin drew the line. So needless money can go to people head even after long partnerships

I really like the longer format vids where you show multiple days of work. You and your WHOLE crew are awesome. Even the guys that are still learning or have a problem showing up. With a good role model and a great boss you are developing some great guys there even though they may seem a little rough around the edges. You are not just pouring concrete you are touching lives and doing God's work. Where would some of those guys be now if You had not mentored them and gave them a chance.
It might seem like a "Toy" but a decent Palm nailer and mini air compressor would be a handy tool to have on the truck for driving form nails in tight spots. Great work and video as always
hahaha i just got done doing a dock and we use a palm nailer for the hurricane straps, 14 nails per strap almost 1200 nails, it is so much easier with that nailer

Hey Ryan, Do you guys do a digital rendition of the work prior to starting? Or do you just see it in your head and create it? Curious to see how you guys do it. We normally make sure the customer has clear expectations on what to expect. But we are trying to see if using a designer or software would ease the visuals on the customers side.
Visual renderings like that gives a customer an unrealistic expectation for quality, they expect it to look like the rendering but that's not the way it works.

You should also never use angle grinder with guard removed..unless you want shrapnel flying directly towards your body when the disc or wire wheels explode

I had an '02 crown victoria P71 and just bolt-on's and dyno tune was 354rwph and it was awesome. Added 4:10 gears and kept every looking 100% stock... wicked machine!

So Ryan I have been a carpenter addicted to the Victory style. For moral reasons my job of years fell through. Inspired by you and your crew I applied to a concrete company with no experience besides from what I have seen in your videos. Worked my first job today setting forms for a stamped patio with fireplace. It was not easy money!! Haha but it was hard honest work that thoroughly filled my soul. Many blessings to you, sir!

Wow - Flash backs to when I worked with my favorite boss doing hvac, we'd do simple equipment swaps and then an occasional brand new home, the new homes were cool to do, but I could def see my boss more irritated because there were so many small customer details (like cutting in registers in the right spots, running duct work / returns, coordinating space w/ other trades ect..) The thing was both types of work had there pluses and minuses, the new cons meant 4 days on one site, the swap out meant more wear and tear on the equipment due to more traveling, plus service calls to others since you couldnt make a whole day out of one call / swap out.. def a balancing act, but he was a good man and a great boss, the jobs were always very easy, the money would literally just fall from the insulation in the attics right into the truck.. unbelievable.
You are what i wish my father was capable of. Unfortunately i have to say it like that, because he knows everything , does everything , you’re capable of doing but FAILED to see it for himself. Wish he made and had a company going like yours, but watching you lately has made me realize, everyone is built different. you a baller/gangster so props my guy, you made it! Ryan is a very simple and to the point man, I can guarantee you he doesn’t use any sort of rendering software.

Yeah that is what we do in construction. Shopdrawing, visual presentation, etc. It works. Easy supervision in the field.

I got a little tip, we use the German saw to cut the soil and it seems to go a lot faster with a lot less effort. Just throwing it out there

So Ryan I have been a carpenter addicted to the Victory style. For moral reasons my job of years fell through. Inspired by you and your crew I applied to a concrete company with no experience besides from what I have seen in your videos. Worked my first job today setting forms for a stamped patio with fireplace. It was not easy money!! Haha but it was hard honest work that thoroughly filled my soul. Many blessings to you, sir!

Wow - Flash backs to when I worked with my favorite boss doing hvac, we'd do simple equipment swaps and then an occasional brand new home, the new homes were cool to do, but I could def see my boss more irritated because there were so many small customer details (like cutting in registers in the right spots, running duct work / returns, coordinating space w/ other trades ect..) The thing was both types of work had there pluses and minuses, the new cons meant 4 days on one site, the swap out meant more wear and tear on the equipment due to more traveling, plus service calls to others since you couldnt make a whole day out of one call / swap out.. def a balancing act, but he was a good man and a great boss, the jobs were always very easy, the money would literally just fall from the insulation in the attics right into the truck.. unbelievable.
