I just love the part at 2:15. This is the first time you see Bruce suffering from putting on his rich / playboy persona. The score ramps up, the 2 girl's voices fade/echo into the distance, and the camera is no longer distracted - aimed only at Rachel and Bruce. Shows how much Rachel means to Bruce even though it's just a small interaction.
It is unfortunate how Rachel also became part of his trauma right from when he decided to become the batman. That point of time when he falls into a never ending loop, when he is lost in to that duality where he wants to be with Rachel to find peace but he can't do that before he learns to overcome his inner demons...which makes him weaker and weaker by time. It would have been very unfortunate for Bruce if he ever had to see Rachel with Harvey Dent For me Rachel is Katie Holmes
