I love the Aztec mask, but I do have super dry skin so I just add my own oils. I add honey, rose hip oil, almond oil etc. & There! You have the same mask for much cheaper than Cetaphil mask.
To avoid any dry feeling, people often add oils n such to the bentonite mask. Castor, avocado, and jojoba oils, as well as aloe and yogurt are some good ones to try
Naw, the aztec wins because although its not "easy" its only clay, there isn't 50 diffrent ingredients, it doesnt have gums and other gross stuff. Use a 100% shea butter after and you're good to go.
I feel like aztec masks are better for individuals with naturally oily skin. I often recommend them to my family members who are of African decent/biracial for their t-zone and cheeks. Specifically my cousin. I show her how sectioning the masks really helps so I often am wearing 3 masks in different areas as well. My Asian family members have dry/thinner skin so I tend to tell them to mix the Aztec clay with a mask that leaves their skin too oily/balmy instead of throwing that product away. As the sticky feeling bothers them. There's always a use/benefit to these mediums :D
Yesterday was my first time using it. I did it the way I suppose to. I didn’t feel pulsating or burning or drying. My skin is extremely sensitive but I felt nothing. No redness nothing lol. I’m trying to figure out why and is it actually working haha.
By the way indian clay is for oily skin and acne prone skin, we apply it when we have too much oily skin. I don't know why u foreigners show our indian products in very wrong way without knowing when and how to use that. Indian clay is for oily skin only but whatever u are going to apply moisturizer after any mask no matter how hydrating your mask is!!!
the clay's name is indian but it's not indian it didnt come out here we got it only recently nd if your talking bout multani or fuller's earth that is diff from bentonite (tho they're similar not the same)

I prefer to use the hotklai mask. It has natural ingredients like aloe, Turmeric, sea kelp, green tea, Hibiscus etc. You just mix with water and it doesn't burn or itch and helps keep my skin super clear.

For someone who has super oily large pores. I love the AZTEC clay mask. I mix it with water and it works great. I love it because it literally deep cleans my pores and no other product in the world does it for me. Yes it does get dry but just moisture with a lotion that day and you will be fine.
I accidentally left the Aztec clay mask on for longer than suggested and it gave me such a bad allergic reaction that my face became super rough, lumpy with nodules and was SUPER painful, red and itchy! I went to the best doctors and even they were shocked! We did every test possible and realised it was an allergic reaction 😭 it took 2-3 weeks to recover but I still have issues with my skin now because of it.
I’m allergic to apples to a certain degree and when I did this with ACV my face would come out tomatoe red. But I love the Aztec mask and have been using it for years. I now use it with organic Rice vinegar to avoid the allergic reaction. Also have a sensitivity to corn which is what regular white vinegar is derived from. Still as effective as it had been before despite the redness. Never tried the Cetaphil mask but I’m allergic to lots of crap so I stick to the Aztec mask. Trick is that it leaves a wonderful palette for deep hydration afterward. I like to use a hyaluronic acid sheet mask before skincare routine. Skin just slurps it up.
That’s Aztec one works sooo well to keep the oil back. I have even oily my whole life. This is the only thing that works and it fades my hyperpigmentation. I use it three times a week.
I used to love in the Southwest and would frequently use the red clay from the earth. The best masks you can use are the clay masks and I have the Aztec brand (I’ve got a mask on of it right now). The apple cider vinegar kills bacteria and fungi, which is another reason why it works great with the clay.

I have the Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask and I usually mix it with acv and apply it. After it dries, I wash it and my skin is pretty red and irritated because of how much it pulled on my skin but my skin was looking great. I just iced my skin afterwards and after a bit my skin looked great! I definitely recommend it for people with non sensitive skin unlike me lol but it still works amazing!!!❤️❤️❤️

I like the Aztec mask. Apple cider vinegar doesn’t bother me smell wise as I use it on my hair during wash day and drink it. Cetaphil products I feel dried out my skin too much and left my skin too dry.
I personally use the one from Axis-Y. It's a good one. I just wish it doesn't contain an essential oil. While the essential oil is at the very bottom of the ingredients list, but i hate the smell. I personally prefer fragrance-free products, and if they're fragranced, i still prefer the one with synthetic fragrance because it doesn't smell as bad.

There’s a video on his/their channel specifically about pores, but basically, you can’t “shrink” them. Clearing them, healing, & increasing collagen gives the shrunken pore look. Clay masks are a big help if you’re oily & congestion prone. Of these 2, try the Cetaphil mask. My current personal favorite is Youth To The People’s Superclay Purify + Clear Power Mask, it has niacinamide and BHA - but it does cost a bit more than these.
I love the smell of vinegar, it's so clean. But I also grew up knowing how it alters the ph, it's a good degreaser, cleans counters, windows, neutralizes odors, esp. Fish, it's a good rinse for cats and dogs baths, and best of all....I like pickles and vinegar fries.
For anyone wondering you don't have to use apple cider though it says on it that you can use water too. So I would recommend that for more sensitive skins.

You usually apply it on dry skin and do not mix it with moisturizer as that will give you spotty application of the retinol. They have a couple videos on retinol.

I know this isn't entirely relevant to your video, but you often discuss how important collagen is to skincare. Skincare is very important to me but I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS - hypermobile type) so naturally, collagen isn't my body's best subject. I understand I'm not your patient, and not all doctors are trained to care for EDS patients, so you might not feel comfortable giving me such medical advice but I have since this topic brought up amongst other EDSers, whether or not using collagen topicals or tablets would be of much use to us. I don't think that it would but I would love some help navigating this collagen problem in regards to skincare.

Usually you wash your face first and apply the mask to dry clean skin . Leave the mask om for 10mins then wipe of with warm water .

I understand I'm not your patient, and not all doctors are trained to care for EDS patients, so you might not feel comfortable giving me such medical advice but I have since this topic brought up amongst other EDSers, whether or not using collagen topicals or tablets would be of much use to us. I don't think that it would but I would love some help navigating this collagen problem in regards to skincare.
