- AK RC Products has given us some 3D printed paddles to test out for the Losi PromotoMX. He makes these for the Sand Drag community in southern California. They are beautiful and don't expand like rubber tires.

With the paddle an exstended swing arm would made this thing a dune climbing machine

First RC dirt bike with a sand paddle I ever saw and I watch a lot of RC content and have owned a lot of RC,s, I actually still have the original Ricky Carmichael dirt bike from over 20+ years ago, I think mine is a bit bigger than the Losi 🤔 Watching this makes me want to put all the electronics from the Losi into my old bike, It could have 2 flywheels because the flywheel is inside the rear rim on my old bike, I would think it would be more stable with 2 flywheels 🤔 Only one way to find out huh 😁 Awesome content guy's keep it up 👍🏻✌🏻

Looks like your truck coulda needed some paddle tires too :D Paddle tires for the bike seemed like the most obvious thing the moment I saw it in dirt the first time, weird that proline wasn't on it like a hog on a loaf of bread.

That's awesome man. What other kind of tires can/do you make?? I need some taller v treads for my mud truck bad. The 2.6 fling kings just aren't tall enough for my mud truck.

Looks 3d printed with TPU, I think if the paddles were abit closer together it would hook up better. Awesome job though. 👏

Definitely know where your brain was on that one GUY 🤔 You edited it too. That company's name flew out of your mouth with buttery smoothness and you fully are aware you called that company camel toe towing and still left it right in there after the edit. I'm laughing at the same time not 😂. The aftermarket is just going to explode just waiting for a front ski (mini pontoons for the turn wheels) for those people that want to try this thing on water and then in snow. Great to see a paddle tire and very smart to have sent you a wheel as it makes the swap that much faster. You got to get a lift and some meats on that their truck 👍💯👊

Florence is an awesome place to play in the sand, places to go all out for miles, went there in my teens with ATVs and an ATC200x, their and Coos Bay was a blast with boxcar hill
These dunes are amazing fun, Winchester Bay is fun to go to as well. It's between florence and Coos Bay.

You side fins on the Paddles. Have the Paddles flare back on the sides, so that the Paddles act like fins, because there is side sliding on the bike.

Thank you for the kind works, I feel like honesty is the only way to go with rc reviews, just like Kevin Talbott. For a faster bike . Try a 3660 5400kv hobby wing motor since the esc is rated 2s .

Maybe, but the rest of the bike will be perfect.... I'm more than ok with that and have already taken them out and cleaned them.
dou you need to glued the tire on the rim?
The akrc paddles come with inserts that I used e6000 to hold them to the rim, and it works great.
It could have been a great video IF you would have kneeled down at the start of the vid and let it roost you. You should have thought of that. I thought that was what the goggles were for. Disappointed 😞.

Have him print u a longer swing arm and add some more chain and u got yourself a hill climber!
You need to have little dorsal fin on the front of the paddles as it goes in the sand, to stop the drifting affects, or make paddles square, because the roundness made it slide to the side.
Hel yea and here I am waiting for my delivery of over a month ago. I raced mx for yrs and finally as soon as something comes out for me to relive the past, Im waiting for it to arrive. Hats off to all the innovators of this unit and all rc units as I appreciate everyone who see's the outside the box 👍

very cool... maybe the paddles should be taller on the sides so that when the bike is leaned over there is more grip... i noticed that the paddles are taller in the moddle than on the side... just spit balling....😁

I air the tires down to 10 psi, and I take ot there all the time, I usually just drive around in 2wd. I was just not paying attention, and this happened. A little pull from a little jeep, and I was out. I've been driving in the sand since I would walk 🤙

yeah its 3D printed.. cool but not my thing. but its nice to print them and make different designs and test them out before a real rubber mold ones hit the market ..im sure there will be a actually mold rubber ones already in the works. im sure 3D print ones work ok also in TPU
@@thatonebeone yes, tpu is what I meant to say. Not pla. That is hard plastic. Thanks for correcting me. We use an Ultimaker s5 and Markforged machines at work.i could not get good results with tpu.

works bitchen but it's just under powered, front tire digs to much.
The front dist brake was dragging. I've taken it off and am going to try it again bit this time with an 8 paddle instead of a 6 paddle.
Might be hooking too much... might need less or smaller paddle...
