    Thank you for this beneficial video.
    I have a question please. How did you get the values you used to define the CFRP as a lamina ? I mean the hashin damage, damage stabilisation and evolution and the elastic properties ?
    does these values differ from each CFRP type ? can I define the CFRP using engineering constants ?

    Instead of applying load why have you given the displacement in U2 direction of -50??

      Honestly, If you use the same load for each example, you will notice that S and U are the same value. Therefore, we cannot see the any difference with CFRP. Why did he change the load? He should explain to us clearly....

    the spacing between the reinforcement and end of the beam would be equal to clear cover or effective cover?

    I keep getting the error that young's modulus must be greater than zero, even though I defined the material properties as shown. Can you tell me how I can fix this? The error message is as shown below:
    Error in job RCwithCFRP2: AN INVALID SET OF PROPERTY VALUES HAS BEEN SPECIFIED FOR *ELASTIC,TYPE=LAMINA. THE VALUE OF [1.0-(E2/E1)*NU12**2] MUST BE GREATER THAN ZERO. THE SPECIFIED SET OF E1=0.0000, E2=1.92000E+05, AND NU12=15000. DOES NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA.

    Thank you for the video. However I noticed the load you've applied on the beam with CFRP is half of the one for the one without CFRP. Why is that?

    If I went to repair beam by CFRP, how add old stress and strain of beam before repairing to the new one???????

    Sir, how to rectify the error set if it is for reinforcement steel in a beam column joint

    Respected sir, Please help me to solve this error-
    504 elements have missing property definitions. The elements have been identified in element set ErrElemMissingSection.
    Tank you

      It could be an element section assignment problem...u could check this out by revising the section assignment manager or it could be an element type meshing issue that you can verify in the meshing module.

    is this static test or impact test?

    • @omeryavuzeski3979
      @omeryavuzeski3979 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Static test, because If you want to make a dynamic test, you have to define density.
