There is any way to active CRFP only after of apply the load in the element? I understand that this type of retrofit acts before to be applied the load!
It is mainly on account of two factors 1) Hashin Failure criteria required specific testing data which I did not have. 2) Failure stress gives more or less accurate results for my conditions it was verified with existing studies so I decided not to spend additional time.

I have taken all dimensions in mm, however ABAQUS is not specific to any unit. Also I did run it, it takes 1-1.5 hours to run on my computer. Hence didn't put the results.
How did you get the material properties of CFRP, would you please share the article or reference for it. I am also using CFRP in my simulation but I don't know how to get all the required properties.

I think it could be done in steps, but what do you mean this type of retrofit acts before ? Due to the bond, the system will behave together.

I had used material technical data sheet provided by the supplier of CFRP
Though there are many references which have these properties, you can check FIB ( bulletin 14 I think but I am not sure )
