Hypothetical follow-up to the rivalry: Anna finds out Nina has a "son" and tries to get to Nina through him, but learns that they don't even see each other eye to eye and becomes more of a mother figure to him; taking notice of this, Nina begins to hunt him down to "teach" Anna that assassin's shouldn't develop feelings while Anna tries to keep him safe from Nina's assassination attempts.
Watch that be her character episode. Being in Steve's life and making Nina jealous AF about it. And before anyone says "Nina doesn't care about Steve," that's a lie. She does care, enough to make sure he stays alive throughout Tekken 4 at least.

With Nina, her endings consists of harming, embarrassing, and killing Anna while Anna’s has her being embarrassed by Nina, humiliating her, and even befriending her. It really makes you pity the girl.

The saddest part is in Tekken 3 after Nina and Anna's cryosleep which lead Nina amnesia and was curious to recall them it was Anna who was willing to bring Nina's memories back because it saddened her (sadly it didn't completely i think but at least Nina remembered Anna while trying) even with the help of Dr. Bosconovitch but after its failure, Anna literally brought Nina at the church to place a bouquet of flowers on for their late father's and when Nina recalls some flashback of memories she slapped Anna in the ending only for Anna to be seen smiling after Nina leaves her at the church 😢 and in Tekken 7 Anna really wanted to move on and wanted to do nothing with Nina with their rivalry as she grows tired of it hell even she was the only one wanting to stop their rivalry but you know what Nina did next and Anna is still mistreated in tekken franchise while Nina is still on the base roster 😢

Tekken 3 was my first tekken and I remember falling in love with Anna the moment I unlocked her and saw how flirtatious, funny and overall sexy. I always thought of her as the evil sister and I liked that more 😂 I always gravitated towards villains and tbh she still looks like one. She’s the MOST interesting female character.

I love her more playful and flirtatious personality in contrast to Nina’s cold and icy personality. She really is a tragic character that you gotta really feel for, especially since her father always favored Nina and ignored Anna. And I personally think most of her rivalry with Nina is mostly just Anna trying to get her sister’s acknowledgment and she figured that defeating her is the best way for her to get it (and honestly it makes sense considering that she legit got depressed when Nina lost her memories in Tekken 3 and Anna even went out of her way to help her). I’m seriously sick of Anna being treated as the “jobber sister” to Nina. They really need to give Anna a decisive victory over Nina and finally have the sisters bury the hatchet for good. One of the first things they did is say pay attention to the symbols on his jacket and necklace turns out those symbols are an owl but they've given no in-game or released lore of why the symbol of an owl or the significance of it. So why did they tell us to pay attention and take notice?

Both wanted the love of their fathers, only to be met with disapproval or punishments in Nebula's case. Anna for wanting a normal life and Nebula for her failed missions. This along with Nina & Gamora's( before he CD) cold & callous indifference towards their sisters feelings/ situations lead to both Anna and Nebula's hatred for their fathers & sisters. However Nebula's at least made peace with her Gamora, and Thanos... is uh a weird case as he did care for Nebula in his own twisted way. But Anna hasn't and as you said, it's pretty clear she was done by this point.
