My pick for sloth would have been Roger. Think about it - he was taken away by scientists in Tekken 5 and, instead of breaking away easily (which he could've done), he was just lunging around watching TV, eating and enjoying time away from his family. Meanwhile, his son and wife go through plenty of peril in order to find him and free him, only for Roger Jr. to punch him in the face upon finding out what his dad was actually doing. He's definitely worse than OG Kuma.
Pride- heihachi. While I thinlk greed was the sin that ultimately ruined him, when it comes to what defines him as a person i would have to go to pride since what consistently drives him is the belief of his own physical, mental, and as of 7, moral superiority compared to others. Greed-law. Not just because of his tekken 6 ending that had him run off with all the money, or his part in 8. Five reveals that law apparently didn't have enough money to make it back from japan after losing the fourth tournament. This was someone so desperate to keep his restaurant he would rather spend money he doesn't have rather than just selling the restaurant and getting safer(all be it smaller) return. Lust- ganryu. It's not because his lust sexual. Really any form of lust comes from basic primal for any endeavor or even person. Sure fang yearns to be the best martial artist to a concerning degree, but he does seem to have general reverence for the craft, to the point where he didn't enter several tournaments despite the chance to prove his strength, and has a deeper understanding of it beyond the surface level. Meanwhile ganryu immediately going after julia and forgetting about michelle makes it clear that it is ust about the shallow atraction. Envy- honestly it could be either anna or lee. Both are younger siblings driven by a feeling of dissatisfaction over the other sibling getting what they sought-after. While yes lee did move on after tekken 2, he goes rightsm back to the same petty mindset once kazuya returns in 4. That's arguably worse than anna whos life was literally put on hold betwee 2 and 3. Immediately by her rash request. Wrath- i agree. The only other characters who could compare are jin and AK II. Gluttony- brian. While generally that sin refers to indulging in food, it can also apply to over indulgence in any activity(hence the term glutton for punishment). Bryan clealry is too enthralled by the violence he commits. Sloth- I agree with maybe and argument of nina considering how indifferent she is to everything and how easily she'll abadon a job.
KUMA II should be conventional lust, Marshall Law and Anna Williams represent envy. Candidates for warth are Bryan Fury, Kazuya and Miguel Caballero Rojo. Maybe Paul Pheanix represent sloth. Feng Wei is more accurately pride, also steve fox in tekken 8
I don't know if this counts, but Miguel Rojo could be a contender for the sins of both Wrath and Sloth. With wrath, Miguel is known for his violent tempers, often getting in fights for virtually no reason, too the point where his own parents were thinking of disowning him. And when his sister got killed by the hands of Jin and the Mishima Zaibatsu, he placed all his anger on Jin and anyone who was affiliated with him. As for Sloth, it's debatable, but out of all fighters in the Tekken universe, Miguel is the only one who's not a martial artist. Instead, he relies solely on his brawling skills to beat up his opponents. Like I said though, this one is debatable, as he's not lazy, and he does love to fight. But like I said, Miguel never learned a martial art style like the other fighters in the Tekken franchise, and just prefer the quick and easy means to beat someone up.
I think Nina should be placed on the sin of Pride. She has always been a character that hardly expresses symphathy or mercy towards people and thinks everything she does is always justified and done properly than others'. Bruce was never a evil character unlike Nina that is a paid assassin
Wait... Geese isn't from "Art of Fighting", he's from "Fatal Fury". Ryo from "Art of Fighting" was IN a "Fatal Fury" game as a DREAM MATCH, but Geese was only in "Art of Fighting 2"
one of the mishima's one be a better pic for lust imo, since bob didn't get overweight because of addiction, but due to him recognizing his own weakness and that being his solution
Kuroko's Basket (Kuroko no Basket) 7 Deadly Sins: Lust - Aomine Daiki, Desires to face against a Strong/Worthy Opponent Wrath - Kuroko Tetsuya, anyone he faced against will suffer a Loss. Pride - Midorima Shintaro, Only does 3 Points. Sloth - Murasakibara Atsushi, Physically Talented but Mentally not Hard Working. Gluttony - Kagami Taiga, Always eager for a Match. Envy - Kise Ryota, Jealous of others to the point of Imitating Them. Greed - Akashi Seijuro, would do anything to acomplish Victory.
*Nah Nah NAH* Interesting choices but now see mine Pride : Heihachi = I mean just how cocky you have to be to decide to *bite* on a bullet that's is shooted at you ? Bro think he Superman Greed : Heihachi = we agree on that and you took your time to explain it so I won't Lust : Heihachi = man has like about 18-25 illegitimate children across the world , if not him then who? Envy : Haihachi = Bro locked down his father inside the basement to take his position . That's next level envy . Gluttony : Heihachi = remember's lars' ending from Ttt2 ? Bro is so food obsessed that didn't even gave up on piece of like I don't know ... kelp ? He took it from poor Lars and ate it himself ! that was ... heartbreaking Sloth : Heihachi = after that dojo was blown up the power of explosion draw him somewhere and he didn't even care enough to move for weeks . Bro is that much lazy ! Not to mention the fact that he was all good and ALIVE during Tk6 the ww3 shit , and took no part of Kaz amd Jin's cat mouse game . Wrath: Heihachi = like bro got so angry over a simple argument with his wife , over the simplest thing EVER (the fact that she was a demon and wanted to kill him which happens to all the couples all the time) that just decided to kill her !!!! Man's crazy fr Eh that's it
My list and reasonings: Pride: Feng Wei. Feng's main character trait has been an inferiority complex. The only reason he fights is to get stronger, and he takes his sweet time after every victory to boast about his power. He gets into a feud with Leroy, dedicating his time to revenge just because he lost one time and demands vindication. Greed: Bryan Fury's entire arc has been taking new technology by force. Like how he strong-armed Dr. Bosconovitch into giving him his new reactor before promptly trying to murder him. Plus he's always dragging around either a girder he's stolen, or a chaingun he's probably killed someone for in his intros. Lust: Since Lust is specifically a sexual desire, this is an easy Ganryu. Not just for lusting after Michelle Chang, but becoming a streamer just to try and get Michelle's daughter, Julia Chang to go on a date with him. Hard pass. (Honourable mention for Kuma) Gluttony: If we're talking about indulgence for indulgence's sake, we're talking about Devil Jin. Granted, the spark is from Jin regressing to protect himself but once Devil Jin's out of the box, he just goes around destroying shit just because it feels good. Wrath: Honestly, I'd agree with Kazuya on this one. He's either killed or tried to kill everyone close to him because he's so jaded and traumatised that he thinks that people who want him to be happy are trying to dictate his lifestyle and therefore deserve to die. Sloth: I mean if we're talking about laziness, Eliza falls asleep during her intro and has apparently spent the majority of her existence asleep under Lili's mansion. And I assume that's where she is during Tekken 8 as well.
@@fightingmedialounge519 And then Bryan attacked Bosconovitch, broke their deal and killed a bunch of Yoshimitsu's clan members on the way out. Also Bryan's Tekken 8 ending is him having spent all of the Mishima Zaibatsu's ending on military equipment to go blow up an abandoned town that he's dubbed his shooting range.
Id argue Pride fits kazuya more than wrath, The reason he wants everything to be decided by strengh is because he has the utmost confidence in his own ability and its good FOR HIM if power is everything because he has the most of it. Its calculated. Now Jin on the other hand fits wrath to a tee. Hes a humble guy, serious, but boy oh boy does he get angry and when he does WW3 starts. As you said, he beat hwoarang to a pulp after losing to him and transforming. In Tekken 8 the whole character arc is about him finally breaking out of the self hatred that he feels for.... well causing WW3. the statement "I WANT TO LIVE" is the statement that means i dont hate myself so much that i want to die anymore. He literally overcomes wrath. Sloth i would not give to feng, id give it to Kuma, hes a horny bear his chapter is him bonking panda with a salmon and having his way with her.
Heihachi’s abuse of Kazuya, the murder of Kazuya’s beloved mother and grandfather combined with the final straw of being tossed off a cliff is what ultimately led to Kazuya becoming bitter and swore revenge on his father and the world. Any child could become bitter if they suffered more than enough abuse.
Kazuya is evil but I can't help that let's say, he was raised by Jinpachi he would've been a decent fella. Tekken 2's whole point was that Angel was the manifestation of Kazuya's good side.
The Mishima feud is not started by the devil gene that Kazuya and Jin inherited from their mother and grandmother respectively, it was greed (Heihachi). Human greed.
Law is that guy who keeps getting shafted by God every chance he tries to fix his situations. Lore spoiler: it isn't that Law is greedy and wants money for money sake. It's that he's been struggling financially ever since Lili put his son Forrest in the hospital. Law could have fought his way through T5 just to earn the money to come back home and restart his business, but Lili beating up Forrest doomed his entire character arc. Basically, Lili owes Law her entire fortune and Law just hasn't yet been told the truth about that. I'd like to think they reference Law recently learning the truth about Lili in her character ending since Law challenges her at her coronation party, but because it's not his ending, they treat his potential character arc climax like the butt of a girl's movie joke.
Feng doesn't sit well with me as "Lust". Lust is purely sexual desire and if we were to use metaphors then the whole "Deadly Sins" could be anyone as evey sin in some kind of metaphor. Kuma is perfect for lust since his whole personality is him chasing Panda, Ganryu is up there. For the "Sloth" spot, I'd take my boy, Lee. He was basically the "counter-pick" for Kazuya by Hei and he prefers a more chil and luxurious life than training to beat his adopted brother. His happier now than he was as a henchman for the Mishima Zaibatsu but he never reached his full potential and is always treated as a comic relief
I believe a better fit for sloth would be Roger, the dad. He almost has never canonically fought, and then left his wife and children to just watch TV.
Marduk is probably even better for pride. He believes might is right, is responsible for AK 1 death and his lines even in T7 is about how he is number 1
Gluttony doesn't make sense for Bob, because he purposely gained weight for the purpose of fighting and adding power. He doesn't have an eating problem or is a glutton, (in fact he accidentally loses weight in his T6 ending). Paul makes more sense as Pride, because he LITERALLY calls himself the "Strongest Fighter in the Universe" despite never having won an iron fist
@@Weeknight yeah Bryan makes way more sense. Plus he was literally gifted with a "perpetual energy generator" from Dr. B, essentially saving his life, and he still attacked and nearly killed the guy and destroyed his lab and continues to go on murderous rampages (which is why he's basically Yoshis mortal enemy)
@@Weeknight I stand by Paul being a better representation for Pride though, but his pride has literally been the thing that cost him victory. In Tekken 1, he under estimated Kuma and they're match ended in a draw, and he was unable to continue. Tekken 2. He made it to the FINAL, but rode late on his motorcycle to the match, and didn't show up on time, and was DQ'd, allowing Heihachi to Advance. In T3, he BEAT Ogre... but left in self celebration, missing when Orge transformed for his final battle with Jin.

I strongly agree with this video being a longstanding Tekken Player and fan. New Subscriber.
I appreciate you 🤝
Pride- heihachi.
I agree with you that Heihachi could fit with the sin of pride.
"we can't have that" then proceeds to beat the crap out of Hwoarang, lmfao
Soz I'm not super familiar with Geeses lore, maybe I should do a vid on him 🤔
Kuma is the only representitive of lust ill accept. Awesome video Dayne
Ily mork
I'd say Marduk fits in with lust ,if u know u know.
The biggest sin has missed this video.
Lucky Chloe
Very good! But the sin of being lame has already been taken by Azazel 🤔🤔🤔
@@WeeknightI agree, the Egyptian Crystal Chicken is indeed a shame
one of the mishima's one be a better pic for lust imo, since bob didn't get overweight because of addiction, but due to him recognizing his own weakness and that being his solution
Kuroko's Basket (Kuroko no Basket) 7 Deadly Sins:
Lust - Aomine Daiki, Desires to face against a Strong/Worthy Opponent
Wrath - Kuroko Tetsuya, anyone he faced against will suffer a Loss.
Do one for mortal Kombat. 🔥🔥🔥 Thought by the way
*Nah Nah NAH*
Interesting choices but now see mine
Pride : Heihachi = I mean just how cocky you have to be to decide to *bite* on a bullet that's is shooted at you ? Bro think he Superman
Greed : Heihachi = we agree on that and you took your time to explain it so I won't
Lust : Heihachi = man has like about 18-25 illegitimate children across the world , if not him then who?
Envy : Haihachi = Bro locked down his father inside the basement to take his position . That's next level envy .
Gluttony : Heihachi = remember's lars' ending from Ttt2 ? Bro is so food obsessed that didn't even gave up on piece of like I don't know ... kelp ? He took it from poor Lars and ate it himself ! that was ... heartbreaking
Sloth : Heihachi = after that dojo was blown up the power of explosion draw him somewhere and he didn't even care enough to move for weeks .
Man's crazy fr
Eh that's it
Lmfao there is a point I'm making in my heavenly virtues that is this comment in a nut shell. 1 character per sin, otherwise its just heihachi 😅
I love how you defined pride👌,it made my day
This comment made my day ❤️
can you cover Bryan Fury? thank you :)
Heihachi’s sins are
Pride
Greed
Envy
Lust
Wrath
Only ones I can’t think of is glutton and sloth 😂
Lmao god damn Heihachi fitting bascially all sins
This is nuts!
I never thought I'd see a video like this !😂😂😂
I go to the extremes for the viewers
My list and reasonings:
Pride: Feng Wei.
Hard pass. (Honourable mention for Kuma)
Gluttony: If we're talking about indulgence for indulgence's sake, we're talking about Devil Jin.
Bryan didn't strong arm bosconovitch. Yoshi brought a dying Bryan to the doctor who fixed him out of the kindness of his heart.
The problem is that this is a game about fighting, 90% of the characters will have some degree of wrath and pride mixed together.
You have the most interesting content creator for tekken glad u continue to grow bigger
You're a gem 🤗
I feel like Wrath should be Devil Jin.
Lust could be said for Heihachi and Kazuya easily.
Nice video. I like it.
Thank you 🫡
Id argue Pride fits kazuya more than wrath, The reason he wants everything to be decided by strengh is because he has the utmost confidence in his own ability and its good FOR HIM if power is everything because he has the most of it. Sloth i would not give to feng, id give it to Kuma, hes a horny bear his chapter is him bonking panda with a salmon and having his way with her.
was expecting marduk to be one of the sins lust or pride maybe
Do Virtues as Tekken characters.
Joe Jackson of Tekken
Kazuya is evil but I can't help that let's say, he was raised by Jinpachi he would've been a decent fella. Tekken 2's whole point was that Angel was the manifestation of Kazuya's good side.
The Mishima feud is not started by the devil gene that Kazuya and Jin inherited from their mother and grandmother respectively, it was greed (Heihachi). Human greed.
Cool video ,and 7 virtues???
Strong potential... 😏
I mistook your voice for History Behind The Warrior. Still watched till the end.
Ill take it ❤️
Law is that guy who keeps getting shafted by God every chance he tries to fix his situations.
I think kazuya is better suited for pride and maybe armor king for wrath, but Marduk is also a decent pride.
"This comment slot is reserved for propaganda of Anna is the better Williams" jdcr approved👍
The only won you got right was sloth and wrath.
Can someone do a video like this for doa
Do 7 heavenly virtues
Holy shit before I even started the video I was like my main hwoarang sure fits pride and Hey!!!!
I don't care about these deadly sins i care that Nina is always there in every tekken series. 😊
I was thinking Lee could be a far more fitting choice for pride
Bro saw them "7 Deadly Sins As TH-camrs" and thought maybe this could apply to Tekken characters
Yeah you got me lmao
@@Weeknight Danggg, it's just ive been watching them too and eager to see more 😂
I would put Marduk on prinde instead of Bruce.
Sloth should be Roger from Tekken 2
Ngl they got us from the first half
As much as I like Paul, Paul is the embodiment of Pride.
We’ve left the “giving food to African children” phrase in the early 2000’s btw.
What's the ending song 🎵?
Infinite azure
St. Thomas Aquinas!
Isn't lust for money Greed?
A lot of the sins (and virtues for that matter) have overlapping qualities. I guess it depends on the scale and how you personally view it.
Greed is definitely Heihachi yeah
I RELEASE UPON YOU THE DEADLY SIN OF TEKKEN
YOU HAVE NO MEANS OF ESCAPE HUMANS
So you knew putting Nina for Lust in your thumbnail is better to get audience than the character you are actually gonna put under category of Lust
I believe a better fit for sloth would be Roger, the dad. He almost has never canonically fought, and then left his wife and children to just watch TV.
Roger is a very good pick for sloth!
Marduk is probably even better for pride. He believes might is right, is responsible for AK 1 death and his lines even in T7 is about how he is number 1
Marduk definitely works for pride
Anna and Christie are my sins for lust❤
Gluttony doesn't make sense for Bob, because he purposely gained weight for the purpose of fighting and adding power. He doesn't have an eating problem or is a glutton, (in fact he accidentally loses weight in his T6 ending).
Paul makes more sense as Pride, because he LITERALLY calls himself the "Strongest Fighter in the Universe" despite never having won an iron fist
It was hard to find someone for Gluttony. Someone has mentioned Bryan and his Gluttony for fighting, which I like the idea of
@@Weeknight yeah Bryan makes way more sense.
You reminded me of Fang with this whole 7 deadly sins since video because I forgot that he existed. And the fact that he and Asuka never had their rematch, at least as far as I know. Maybe Asuka and Fang could have a fight to settle the score......Oh who am I kidding, thanks to Lili, my girl became nothing more then comic relief........Glares at Lili. Aside from that, I can vibe with your choices of characters, especially Anna. Great job and I would love to see more lore videos on the cast!
Paul's sin is being a Himbo
HAHA true
Jun should have sloth she slelt from tekken2 to 8
Uh.... a Lust for Power and.... Regular Lust are very Far apart. Lust definitely fits Ganryu better. Also to an extent, Anna.
Kuma is the sin of lust 😂
Kuma as sloth? He's a bear thogughgh.........
I thought Hehachi turned out to be a good guy in Tekken 7?
REALLY stretching for lust
But Bob's desire was to be more successful, and there's nothing wrong with being successful 🧐
Pride must be Paul Phoenix,,, "number 1"gimmick 😂
Or else it should be Craig marduk
BRIAN OR FENG IS NOT THE SIN OF PRIDE?
Feng is cool as a game character.
But my god, he is a terrible person.
Jerk / 10 is an understatement lmao
feng vs Bryan. jerk off.
He did showed a gentle side to Leroys dog
Kuma 1 is a girl. Kuma 2 (Tekken 3 onward) is her son.
Isn't lust strictly sexual tho?
Alisa list 😊
Lei wulong should get gluttony he is drunk af all the time (bob is fat not because of the joy of eating or drinking same with ganryuu he is a sumo wrestler) lei wulong is just drunk cus he likes to
So what about Sexual Lust now? Whom will you select?
Lee Chaolan
@@omiorahman6283 why?
The sixth sin should be of Jin Kazama
>Kazuya
>Wrath
Greed is there, what the hell?
Imo kazuya is greed
Because of the sneaker collection, right? I mean, it works, but he's wrath.
Jin = edginess
Jin x Nina 💜 ❤
lili pride bro
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Now do the 7 virtues
he won't
Someone told me it would be out this week, but shhh don't tell anyone
I promise I won't tell@@Weeknight
