Remember every time a person agrees to pay a high price for a rental or property that only validates the next owner/seller to do it again.

For sure! there is certainly no reason to spend this amount in Chiang Mai to be very comfortable. Everyone has their own priorities and needs and budgets. We are just trying to show the many different options available.

In my budget but for CM its expensive. Folk who settle in CM are the over 60 club and generally on a budget.. Id consider 1 Yr with option to extend at 900 USD. In CM in few months time

@@user-nl9me3er7w Research? How? By watching fake videos on TH-cam? Best research is using your own eyes. If you haven't lived in CM for several years you won't know the deal. As far as these digital dingdongs in CM, you're thinking about prior to 2019. Most of them left after 2019 and haven't returned. Most of the few digital dingdongs who do come to CM stick around for one to three months and then leave. He's right. Most of the foreigners who settle in CM are over 60 on a budget.

I am sorry I have to disagree and that most expats in Chiang Mai are not on the tight budget that is portrayed for Chiang Mai, Also many of the expats here do not show their wealth as they do not feel the need to as they have left behind the material west. We have to be careful we do not become blinked and believe everyone is the same as those that we hang around with.

Like many units advertised on this channel, this one is very overpriced. You can get a very nice newer luxury 1 BR in Asok Bangkok with much better amenities for less than the asking price. And the same 2 BR unit isn't much more than this one. This unit should be no more than 30,000 baht if a fair rate were being asked. Landlords asking ridiculous rents for condos in CM will be the nail in the coffin for this city which still has not come close to recovering from the lockdown. And real estate agents who do not discuss market rates with landlords in order to keep rents within reason are contributing to the problem. Understand than landlords and real estate agents are working to push market prices up. This will destroy CM's long term future. People move to CM for low cost, not to overpay. Please spare me from lines like "we've never seen so much demand," etc. If demand is so high you wouldn't need to spend so much time making these videos.
