Your videos have chilled me out a bit, informed on Scottish history and made me laugh at yer ramblings. I'm from Glasgow, so your vids have gave me some ideas of nearby achievable walks. Cheers sir, if I ever bump into you in one of Particks fine bevvy hooses i'll stand you a pint.

Enjoyed this video very much. It’s 8:15 am here on the SW coast of Florida. I do love a walk beside the sea. We don’t have the rocks and crags here, but we do have the wonderful Everglades. Lovely walk today,and happy memories of the Ayrshire coast in the 1940s. Yes Ed standards have slipped drastically. Even in a wee 2 room and kitchen in Glasgow in wartime we had the table set with a cloth and the best China for tea, though it may only have been bread and marg, or a scone, No mugs were allowed, Nowadays you might even be given a mug with an advert , Napkins or serviettes are an unknown commodity,Oh well there is always paper towel .At 86 it is good to look back on what once was in the bad old days.

I have now walked the John Muir way, Fife Coastal trail, Fife Pilgrim way and a recent visit to Great Cumbrae after seeing your videos. Next trip is to the Campsies. A big thank you to you Eddy keep up the great work. I love your music too 😊 Next time I am in Glasgow I'd love to buy you a few beers 🍻

Dunure is where I live, love this I was also caught by the tide on the coastal path from Dunure to culzean and hastily had to retreat with the dog! I have done this exact route as you have done and you’re right it’s not at all clear. I particularly enjoyed walking g along the old dunure to Ayr railway line
Terrific scenery, it's good to be next to the sea. This has made us think about moving back to the area, now we're older. Chicken paste, though! After the last upload we bought a few tins of PEK and had it in rolls.... Was also very good fried!! 👍🏻

Interesting walk, one that I've not been on. I remember the type of rock in the video that's common on that coast. Go easy on the pubs though. They might be ''desperate businesses'' fighting for survival. Great video.👍
A beautiful walk by the looks of it and a lovely video. We were over in July to inter my mum's ashes in Doune Cemetery in Girvan and to scatter a few of them on the top of Byne Hill nearby (where she would walk as a girl). Hi Ed, I think you are wonderful! About your sandwich, could you not have a bit of tomato with it, that would make it a bit more moist. I love your dry sense of humour, you just make me laugh and cheer me up. Being about your age ( I'm 76) sorry maybe your in your 60's. I think younger people don't appreciate us? When I was growing up in the 50's we were taught to respect older people, giving up our seat on the trams etc. Anyway thanks to utube I've stumbled across your channel,. Keep up the good work! Neil.

You can't mess around with tides, especially where cliffs are involved.

Certainly a lovely area. I think that clear jelly stuff around the Pek meat is tasty; could probably eat a tin of just that with no meat!

Just as well there was a place to have a wee pee Ed, with the sound of that water splashing I would be wanting to go all the time.
Still remember climbing the rock at Dunure harbour as a boy and freezing as i'm afraid of heights 😂

A bit of research would have helped. Bracken Bay at 16.30 and walked past Greenan Castle with no info. The Heads of Ayr created by a lava sill.
