What a neat perspective of the Forth Bridges. Enjoyed the views of the harbors and boating community. Living near a fairly large harbor, seeing how the Scot's do it rounds out the total experience. Watched a few short's afterwards and I had to contain my laughter!
We’ve been to some but one of the great things about doing this is we visit places we’ve never been to, even though they’re only an hour along the road.
Lime was used in so many processes . Interesting to see the Kilns. Seeing old boats deteriorating is sad , upkeep costs are very high. Ah grave stones are very interesting. I like the witches grave stone story about keeping her from rising. DeNiro zoomies are full of pure joy .
Nice of the security man let you in to see the castle. Those lime kilns are impressive! Interesting about the witch. Aw. Shame you can't see the salt pans. Almost looks like a Cornish tin mine. Have finally caught up with all your vids!!!! Thanks for showing us around! Ju 😁
30 years ago when I used to take horses to Ayr racecourse and stay overnight in b&b the town was so very grubby and run down. We couldnt wait to go home 😮 Dundee was no better.
That's some kiln works!! Amazing to see it all still there. Wonder what they mean by 'Rooms' on the gravestones, can't find anything on Mr Google about it, very odd!
Another awesome vlog! Love seeing DeNiro romping about 😊
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Such a beautiful country…so much history.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool kilns! I really appreciate your respect for others around you while filming.
We try!
The kilns were beautiful. Another great adventure.
They are amazing, I had no idea they were there.

We do love harbours and the sea, something there good for the soul.
Hello from up the river in bonny Clackmannanshire. I really enjoyed that. Those weeks beaches along the Forth are lovely.

I was surprised by the boats. There must be quite a lot of money slowly sinking there.
Beautiful lighting effect with the lime kiln arches. Well done.
Thank you. It did look very atmospheric.
That large kiln was really impressive. You could definitely take some very atmospheric pics there.
Be really good to get inside, I wonder how far back they went and what’s left up on top.
What a lovely place.
It’s not a bad part of the world :)

Also... have given up on learning to crochet!!!!! Epic fail on my part! Sorry Bex!!!!!!! 😭😭😭
Loved this!😊🎉❤
Thank you!!
Good to have a pootle! I wonder if the harbour is closed because of the amount of wrecked hulls submerged...?
Yeah, not sure. Lots of money worth of boats rotting away there.

Dundee used to be awful! One of the few places we worked in pairs. It’s much better now, they’ve spent a fortune.

It's still cool to find new things like that. We've been to, erm, one or two graveyards and not seen that wording before.
@@scotlandonashoestring Very! Haha - have to keep an eye out for more!
Cool kiln pictures
Thank you. Never been there before, very unexpected.
So interesting! That grave from 1675 surprised me!
Yeah. Don’t know if that’s a replacement stone or what. Need to get back there for a better look.
Ah, Prestonpans...now I must go look up which of my ancestors lived there and why.
It was a busy old place, Mining, fishing, salt, pottery, loads going on.
😊❤🎉
