    Missus and I thoroughly enjoyed joining you on your hike. We spent half an hour with Robbie Coltrane in Lamlash, who loved the peace and quiet. Well done Young Lad 👍

    Excellent vlog and well done completing the trail. Out of my 4 trips to Arran, 2 have been backpacking. It's a beautiful island.

    Well done! As an Arran local i've done most of this over the years, some of it drunk in the middle of the night getting home! I'll definitely do the full thing over a few days at some point, once I finish all the island summits. Sorry you never got good weather, you've got to be on good terms with the little people on the island to guarantee that! 😄

      @ScottishSummiteer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha yeh I’m sure next time I go back to arran the weather will be a bit kinder. Was a great island though, so many things to see

    Excellent videography, commentary and editing...I think the algorithm recommended you to me because I am a fan of Steve Marsh who vlogs walks in Scotland and elsewhere.

    Enjoyed watching that. Did the Way a couple of years ago in very similar weather, so it brought back memories! Agree that the road walking isn't too bad as road walks go.
    5:37 is the exact bank I slipped on and hurt my knee for the rest of the walk!

    Well I didn't see that coming😅. But all the better for that!
    I was right about a Tertiary igneous centre, and the castle on the background was Brodick Castle. Ok I was only 100 miles out🤦‍♂️!!.
    But what a glorious presentation 😃, catching the terrain, wildlife and villages you pass through. sure many people wouldn't have known that a coast path of Arran even existed.Seems a bit disjointed in parts. I have some good friends who do an annual holiday on Arran, and wouldn't go anywhere else.
    You were obviously out in the recent weather which saw many of us confined to barracks. But once more you show that should not stop people getting out and breathing the fresh air!
    You asked us to enjoy this adventure and yes, no ifs buts or maybe
    Good one!
    Mike

    Fab video of you hiking the Aaron way. Don’t you get worried about camping on your own. And when you are hiking or climbing monrows, do you wonder about the history of where you go and what battles that may of taken place. And the hikes and climbing you do what stories the trails could tell you 👍🎉😎 peace

    Great first solo. We’ve been watching your other vlogs and we are now just watching your first solo, superb. Your commentary is always very good. Nice to see such a young man with a great head on his shoulders enjoying the great outdoors. My partner and I are off to Arran again in April, such a beautiful place to explore. Stay safe and keep adventuring Linda & Mark from Lanarkshire 😊😊 look forward to seeing more!

      Yes definitely agree, The various hiking websites suggest 5 to 8 days for the full circuit of the Isle. That would likely include ascent of Goatfell and other visitor highlights like Holy Isle. All taken at a leisurely pace in summer conditions.😊
