Interesting, I notice in my ID3 that as soon as I press the button to clear the windscreen range goes down by about 20 miles on the GOM, I will try this setting next time 😄
That clear windsreen button puts also ac on and fan speed to pretty fast, that's why it's so high consumption. It's OK to keep that shortly on if there is mist in the glass, but best for range is to find settings which keep glass open with steady flow settings. Temp and fan speed wise. It depends on outside temp and moist etc. You can also try to find treatment for inside of your glass not to get foggy so easily.
