That does a good job of nailing the coffin shut on my excitement for the title.
Though, who knows? Maybe they'll surprise us. Still keeping my eye on it.

Im already guessing some of the features are storage limited to like 20items and you need to spend 100$ for an expansion 😂 or the chinese VIP777 system pay to level it up costing insane amount of money
Take it with a large grain of salt.
According to forums there is a lot of problems during the dev of the game, since Netease actually didn't consider this game as their top priority. The budget allocated to this game is very little they kept hiring people left and right if you go look at their website. They recently hired someone for video editing likely they're going to release a new PV soon. A lot of ex-devs for this game actually speak up about their team manager being a suck up to higher ups and an asshole, what you see in the trailer actually was managed to implemented after weeks of crunch.
As of recent they've been putting out a huge load of job positions, it is very likely netease finally throw them a damn bone to finally get something going.

😢 yeah you said it man , net ease really tends be underwhelming at times . I played many of their games and I can for sure say they tend to either rush things or overlook important key features
Have faith a little 😂 NetEase just released Marvel Rivals, it's an Overwatch type game and it's way more fun than Overwatch

Idea is great. Simply using Spider-Man/Batman style of game to explore a big city, riding vehicles like in GTA and using Genshin style characters sound very cool. If this game goes wrong I hope someone else pick the idea.

I doubt this game will be as good as the trailers.
Most of the trailer seems to be pre-rendered cinematic, not an actual gameplay.
Also, it's published by NetEase, they're infamous to be a bad publishers.

Actually if you look them up they had a lot of problems inside, but what you see on the trailer is actually implemented in the game after a very long crunch. A lot of ex-employee said their team manager the guy you see in the trailer speaking is a asshole lol

I feel the biggest thing. Needed is multiplayer because most genshin and genshin like games Lack a good multiplayer. Even though you play with friends, the world and its interaction really makes it less of a enjoyable experience trying to interact with your friends world. Really allow friends who can Play together, interact with each other's worlds like puzzles and
Interacting with npc's and treasures, Plus vendors. I think if you can really have a good time with your friends without having to go into each other's world just to progress, everything would really make this stand out to other games that try the genshin formula.
If that would happened in genshin then you will really be in trouble with primogems and resources
It may severely struggle on mobile if that happens. And lack of good engagement in the mobile market = less overall revenue. Even the majority of Genshin's market are mobile players.
If they have coop as well, it'll likely be limited/restricted to an extent.
Oh riiiight it's Project Mugen, this has been so long that I legit forgot the name and how it looks and I got it mixed up with Wuthering Wave, I thought they're the same.
Looking at WuWa rn, I've come to realize that the simpler the graphics the better. Wuwa is gorgeous, but damn my PC is working really hard it won't stop stuttering, lmao
I hope it can still hold on when this one comes out, go easy on us devs.
I guess that WW devs carescare about players more than Project Mugen. And that care will make a lot of difference.

P. Mugen & Azu Pro are my most anticipated open-world games. Both have something that Genshin and WuWa are lacking, which is fast traversing. In my opinion, it's more fun to explore an open-world game without any restrictions in mobility. I just hope that when they are released, they don't suffer from as many issues as what happened to WuWa on day 1.
my impression are split between :
- I like urban areas easy traversing with combat involved
- fuck, NetEase is the Publisher
If they have a dope story it can be really engaging.

It's NetEase so monetization will be a problem. Possibly even worse than Hoyoverse or Genshin in particular.
Right now I'm having fun with WuWa but if that game someday goes to the Genshin route, then project Mugen will probably be my next open world gacha game.
Gacha games are inherently P2W. The next question will be how far they will take it. This can be a lot of things like bad pity system, slow premium currency generation, releasing content that is REALLY hard to beat if you don't have a particular character, and more.
Couldn't have phrased it better. The word "F2P Friendly" is being used so liberally nowadays. Just because you can make it to endgame without spending a dime doesn't mean it's F2P Friendly, especially if you need to spend a couple of hundred hours grinding to get there.

Im having fun with wuwa as well and im also looking forward for PM cuz i love playing some of their anime games like Onmyoji--- which im still playing for 5 years lol.
But we gotta lower the expectations in this game, cuz its from NE... And you know NE disappoints a lot of their players for many reasons 😐

This finally seems like the game. The one that can raise the bar for all other games. This engine is promising. Can easily create, edit and add content fast and beautifully. Im so excited for this one. I hope its as good as I think. If it is. Ill gladly put down every other game Im playing right now and give it my full attention.

The gameplay looks beautiful but the monsters doens't seem to do anything besides being a health sponge. Wuthering Waves have some dark souls feels that is refreshing to the genre that seems that is missing in Mugen.
They're not even in beta, it's on initial test almost a year ago. So the enemies just pretty much not doing much or has no mechanic yet. There's clip in this footage also from leaked initial test. This game won't be another wuwa for sure. This game grab the casual players, similar like azur promilia. If wuwa aim for hardcore gamers in genshin that only 10% (only less than 10% players in genshin that do abyss 12), this game and azur promilia aim for the 90%

@@caiocezarmilhomens5718 me too the 10% but tbh im more excited with azurpromila and project mugen than wuwa. as far as i know the combat definitely different than wuwa and genshin, they kinda let player utilize environment as "battle tool". imo they still go to casual route because people kinda wanna just go for fun not being battle hardcore, from what i read they emphasis the high freedom where player can do pretty much whatever they wanna do or a lot of things in game, like gta pretty much

The gameplay you are seeing isn't from mobile, it's probably from PC. Mobile version will be less flashy and the graphics will be lowered bit so that mid-end mobile would run it. And that's not me saying it can't run as you are seeing in the video on mobile. I think a snapdragon gen 3 or the latest iphone can run it with no problem and with 60fps even. High end mobiles nowadays are no joke; they are powerful.

Since this is a NetEase Game I'm not gonna have good expectation for now until after the game has launched at least then I'd be willing to change my mind. There's already way too many times where a game just looks pretty and cool but is actually just bad overall because of the inner workings of it. Not to mention there's already countless devs out there who say they want player feedback but don't actually care about it at all.
