I love that you always put up an image of the cards you mention in your commentary. It saves me the effort of looking up or recalling the cards I don't remember perfectly and it instantly makes your commentary easier to understand.

As someone who has trouble keeping wildcards (I just wanna play every deck), I love budget style magic decks. This looks right up my alley, especially since the Paradise Druids are must crafts for me!

I'm old school and I'd build this deck with Blanchwood Armor in mind!
I have... Well. Most cards now, and know the meta etc. Blanchwood Armor on curve on anything the opponent can't block or has trample. If they do not have an answer in hand off the bat it can end games so fast, because NO ONE expects it. I have lost to "newbie" decks that do not have other things to run... You don't see it coming, coz you barely ever do. But when you do and have no answer... It has the ability to be MVP and win the game in 1-2 turns.

I made this after seeing you first stream it right after WAR came out. I replaced a couple copies of squire's devotion with oakenform but yeah it's really fun to beat down RDW

Thanks for reminding me about paradise druid....ill be adding that to my list. I would cut 1 serras wings for a prodigious growth for sure (still budget friendly since i think you get a free one) and likely find a place for a 2nd (devotion?), as this deck really has no way to "go over the top" without it.....needs more bomb-factor.
And yes, i know it won't ever be tier 1 but you have to try to be the best version of yourself lol
The last thing I'd replace in this deck is the serra's. flying vigilance lifelink is the perfect combo for your hexproof.
I too have a prodigious growth but I replaced a prison realm with it. Could also replace a squires devotion with it

Gildeon instead of Ajani could be an option since it will lower the curve, can protect and has sinergy with the druid

The real budget version doesn't have Ajani or rare lands. Deck just happens to be cheap.

Maybe in corset they reprint Slippery Bogle, and totem armor. So you can destroy mono red.

Hi please make a naya or gruul pump/aggro. Play red for krenko, dreadhorde arcanist, samuts sprint. Green for giant growth and collision//collosus. Splash white for maybe tenth district legionnaire
Please make a sideboard so i can play best of three with it and also maybe buy it in paper.

I always like to use Ferox for a solid Hexproof creature due to the fact that everybody plays board wipes. We need MORE hexproof- anti-fun creatures in Arena for decks like these.
You know that hexproof doesn't protect from board wipes, right?

Good deck but instead of playing 4 of each aura I'd recommend playing 2 of multiple different auras in order not to stack keyword effects.
Right now i'm running talons of wildwood, dub, and oakenform in addition to squire's devotion, on serra's wings and sentinels mark.
You need vigilance if you have paradise druid or are racing, you need lifelink only if racing, you need flying if the other player has creatures and trample is just worse flying in most cases.
So you can adjust what you run depending on what decks you most run into. For example vs mono red you want as many as possible lifelink and vigilance auras.
VS control you want some vigilance (for druid) and a bunch of stats to beat down as quick as possible.
VS whiye weenies you want vigilance, lifelink and flying.
So different keywords have different value, as such you shouldn't just run 2 of each, but cut the one that are least relevant against decks you most run into. Checking different scenarios I think cutting vigilance auras isn't advisable, however squire's devotion looks very cuttable if you're not facing many aggro decks.

Yeah you are right but in a best of one it is very difficult to predict what your opponent is playing. Trample is necessary against decks with flying chump blockers, thopters for example and talons of wildwood has a nice ability to return itself from the graveyard. First strike makes double blocking and trading your auraed creature really hard for your opponent which happens a lot when you get to a board filled with creatures. Running multiple enchantments lets you average out the quality of enchantments in the deck and also makes your bond of flourishing better because you are giving yourself more options.
I run 4 ofs of sentinels mark and on serras wing because yes the vigilance is crucial in order for the paradise druid to be effective.
I also recommend not playing the satyr enchanters. Because all your other creatures will be difficult to kill, your opponent will use their removal on it before you can take advantage of the card draw. So I'd recommend swapping it out for oakenform instead which is way more useful. Also I find this deck to be very aggressive as well. You should be winning on turn 5-6.

Yeah decks that run a million counters and barely slot in a win-con are annoying. I'm glad he got redemption in the second game and that trash deck had to scoop to Vine Mare
They might be annoying but they are effective unfortunately.
I think that nissa deck made a mistake by scapeshifting with only one counter on his creatures..
Should have kept at least one land/elemental.. or wait.

Play the deck 20 times; its not as good as the video shows; I think he cherrypicked some good hands. You have get a just so run out to win.
Specifically I've found in 'most' games the enchantment to creature ratio is off, and I have land problems.

@@mlspdennis1750 Ya its fun when it wins, but it doesn't win very often. I'm on my 3rd constructed event bo1 and it wins 2-4 games. you have to get druid in on turn 2, and 2 of your enchantments before they go off. just lost a match where i needed the flying enchant to win. any combo deck looks great when it combos; its how often can you combo with it. i HATE RDW... I mean I HATE it... so I'm always looking for an anti-RDW, but I'm my literally thousands of games played I don't think one exists; to beat RDW you have to draw well AND they have to draw ok to bad. If they draw you well you just lose. If you draw ok to bad you just lose.

Sometimes you have to mulligan aggressively if you don't have all the pieces.
View this more like a combo deck, where card advantage isn't always important.

Out of the 20 games I do of magic everyday on arena, 15 of the decks I pair up against are control, I'm so tired of playing against the same netdecked decks every single day. People just let the game play them instead of enjoying doing something fun and new and brew something themselves.
Oh and before you ask the other 5 decks I end up against is the cancer plague that is mono red. -.-

Ranked, unranked, best of 1 league , best of 3, everywhere, it's just grixis discard , grixis control, esper control , grixis discard, grixis control, esper control and repeat, repeat , repeat. Dueling a gruul deck or merfolk or elfs even mono white now is a freaking aleluia moment if I ever come across one of these decks.

Wanted to minimize the use of Mythic WC's for budget folks, but everyone should have 1 from the free decks.
Blue/black control decks. What other way to say, "fuck you!" So infuriating. They're not gonna let you play the game, and will just leisurely wait until they have their combo. Unless you get a nut hand, you're done.
Remember the original mill/fog deck from MTG on steam? And how absurdly powerful that was against everything in the game, because there was only two counterspells? lul
I am so very terribly sorry, being a whole universe worse than you as a Magic player, but wouldn't it be better blocking the vanguard @ 23:07 instead? So opponent would have need to pay life in order to save it and it would benefit you more than just killing it. Either way it is a win/win condition for you.
Whilst blocking Sentry only resulted in opponent's creature dying, giving you less options as a result.
Actually no, it wouldn't. If opponent pays life, he still only dies in two turn (12 life or 8 life, both takes 2 attacks from 6 power druid). And this mean on the next turn, opponent has 4 more power (and one more body for Pride of the Conqueror +2/+2 should it happen) to attack with.

Adding Karn's Bastion really helps adding power to your creature's with its proliferate.
