    • @andrewbellavie795
      @andrewbellavie795 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      try to jam multiple spells on the same turn. you can bait out counter spells by playing stuff, then playing more stuff. aggro decks are great to pressure the opponent into tapping out, but ultimately, you can also play a control deck of some kind. if you cant beat em, join em I guess

    What is your opinion on Kiora in ramp decks like this? She adds the benefit of making super extra mana with Nissa, yet is kind of awkward as a 3 drop.

    • @LegenVD
      @LegenVD  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think Kiora is better suited in a more midrangy creature deck like Gruul, where both aspects of the card are useful.

    • @Yuzuki1337
      @Yuzuki1337 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kiora is super sweet if you run her alongside Gift of Paradise, I played that combo in my Prerelease. :) The other instance where she would be solid is if you are ramping into huge creatures instead of winning with Finales, as her static ability helps you drawing gas which is something that ramp decks often struggle with. 7 starting loyalty is surprisingly so much that she either gains you a ton of life or sticks around for a few turns at the least and if you can otherwise benefit from one of the above synergies she becomes surprisingly strong.

    • @johanneseverse5108
      @johanneseverse5108 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Yuzuki1337 I've been playing her alongside Nezahal on arena, which has felt nice so far. Her static triggers on his blink, netting you more cards to make your dino even more evasive. Still not sure the power level of the deck yet, but it is very very fun.

    How many games do you usually play with a deck before being happy enough with it and putting together a video?

    • @LegenVD
      @LegenVD  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It varies a lot based on the deck. If it's using a lot of new cards it will take more refining than a deck that just got a few small upgrades.

    As your Grixis opponent I oops-ed because I though about the forerunner after the attack step and I totally forgot about the possibility of it being revived from the graveyard with the finale therefore I've witnessed what I've escaped. If I was a bit frustrated by the Tatyova top deck, I had effectively a good draw and I had no reason to complain about. My last turn was merely a missplay opening my shield for no good reason, would have been a gg anyway if you won.

    Absolutely loved this deck. Questioned the Elfhame at first, but the pay off from Grow from the Ashes does seem more worth it especially as you can get the immediate value off the Druid. Whereas the alternative option, Incubation Druid, requires you to wait at least 1 extra turn. So I get that. Would love to see you do a Mardu Hero of Precinct One deck some time.
