For those wondering why the last collosi attacks on sight. Remember that he can see the entire landscape. So he saw all other fall. So it's either out of hate or that he knows he's the last key for the release of dormir and puts up a last valiant fight to stop you making this mistake

I tried playing Shadow of the Colossus, but killing the colossi just made my heart sad, so switched the game off and never went back to it. After coming thru the portal (which was funnily enough located at my house) they scooped me outta my living room, stuck a toothpick in me, and now I am an appetizer, at the Colossus Ball!.....

Nier Automata has some intriguing moments too, the first level IS the first boss, literally. It was a Niche game, but the PS2 Transformers game (based on the Armada franchise) features one of the all-time great giant bosses: Tidal Wave. For context, you play through a level on a Decepticon aircraft carrier, and once you sabotage it, it transforms into a giant Decepticon. Yes, _the level itself becomes the boss._ He still has a full complement of Decepticons he sends at you while you have to fight him... it's pretty nuts.

She's not really a boss (for your character anyway) but Kalros, the Mother of Thresher Maws, in Mass Effect 3 is massive. She takes down a Reaper Destroyer (skyscraper sized Reapers) by constricting it. To be able to wrap herself around a Reaper that much, while still being partially submerged underground, can you imagine how HUGE she must be. I mean her movement can cause massive earthquakes on Tuchanka, for pete's sake. I will never forget the awe of watching that fight. It's still one of the best highlights of playing ME3 for me.

Is it just me, or was Kronos actually shrunken down considerably in God of War III from his first appearance in God of War I? I mean, in I there’s the narrator’s comment that, after first grabbing hold of Kronos, it took Kratos like _3 whole days_ of climbing before reaching the dungeon chained onto Kronos’s back…the dungeon in which _most_ of God of War I takes place in.
Yeah, Kronos is still really huge in III and all, but I still never bought him being as huge as he’s suppose to be.

There is a boss on ARK survival evolved called Rockwell Prime, and while he himself isn't that large during the bossfight, that's not his full body. The bossfight takes place in an ARK map where almost half of the playable area is him. The area is oftentimes called the Corrupted Gardens. For context, the boss is sorta like a biomass, which is why he has contaminated around half the map. The bossfight with Rockwell Prime is just fighting his core. If we include all of his mass in the Corrupted Gardens, then I feel like he'd easily be able to make top 3.

I remember the final boss in a gem of a game, pretty old one {with David Bowie composing the soundtrack and being integrated part of the game with tapes to play and even concerts to attend!}... the game is "Omicron - The Nomad Soul". Again, not sure how large that creature was but it was definitely a hell of a fight I've never won... and I swear I did play that final battle a lot! I'm talking about a "20 years or so" old game!

Technically Colossus 13, Phalanx, is the largest one. There’s an official image that shows a size comparison for all the colossi, and Phalanx is literally bigger than all the others combined; if only in length.
Also, Bayonetta isn’t “literally made of hair.” Only her outfit is. She’s still human underneath her suit, even if she is a god-like witch.
Forgive me for being so pedantic and nerdy, but those two games are some of my all-time favorites. 🤓
