wow, love the way you made that hook knife out in the bush. I'm so glad I seen this. I will try this at my camp. Oh, yes, using the hammer as an anvil; genius.
wonderful this bushbox ! thanks!
Well done, im heading into my shop to make a hook knife. I love the Bushcraft essentials stove, i have not tried using it like this haha. Nice video, thanks for sharing.
If you want a good edge on that bought knife, heat it to red and stick it in a can of hydrated lime to cool. And cut across the grain when you carve the spoon bowl.
Very cool dude, I'm thinking of doing it with a steel spoon lol I'm very lazy
I doubt a spoon has the right kind of metal for making a shaving hook.
Nice vid! I love looking earth, discover and relax...
Me tornando cada vez mais fã dos seus vídeos cara! Parabéns!
Obrigado!
Great video! I did something similar with the Biolite Stove so I don´t have to blow the ember.
As I always say, blacksmithing ist a bushcraft technique and steele is play-dough for men ;-)
excellent ... once again!
Clark
Thanks Clark? Virginia? Both :-)
+nagualero very good work I subscribed too greetings from UK England Essex I loves outdoors bushcraft too being a fox 🐾🐺👌
Very good video be blessed and keep up the good work
Thanks
Great video! I have always wondered why most of the spoon knives have a squared end when, as you found with a slight tweak and rounding of the end, it is MUCH easier to use!
VERY good job! It seems to work far better than the Mora!
thanks, it does Kim
Love your videos! What did you use for the steel? It looked like a small file
yes it was a small carbon steel old file
@@NagualeroArt very cool, thanks
What mocotaugan do you use in this video?
I made it a while ago, there's a video of it on the Tipi Diaries series
таким инструментом работать, это себя не нужно уважать
Great video, loved the Bushbox Blacksmithing, not seen that before. The new hook knife worked well, I've started carve a few things today, A spoon Spatula and a Swedish Butter knife if they can be called that. I struggled with the spoon carving the bowl the mora I used is the one with the sharp end, Im not sure if its technique or the wood I was using not green enough. I enjoyed learning though. Feel free to check my spoon out instagram.com/p/Bdu41Kkjb-k/?taken-by=bearded_bushcrafter. thanks for another enjoyable video. Trev
Thanks, nice spoon
