This is such a minor detail in the edit but for much of the video whenever there is striking, there are exactly the same number of beats between cuts of the same footage. 3 taps of the hammer on every cut until the next camera angle, then a new shot with exactly 8 beats between cuts. It's such an effortful choice and I want the editor of the video to know that someone appreciated it.
Great craftsmanship! Soldering the copper together so cleanly in so many places across the kettle is particularly impressive. It is a conceptually simple process, but I'm sure mastery of it is the culmination of many years of experience. Well done and thank you for sharing.
¡Precioso! Aprecio tu trabajo y tu talento. Soy de Argentina.
It's such a tactile object. I noticed that when you placed it for the final shot, in seconds you picked it up again and ran your fingers over it, feeling the texture and form. I find myself doing this with objects (mainly furniture) that I have made. I think it's probably greatly amplified in things you've made yourself as they're shape and texture reminds you of the process of making them.
Very beautiful and a masterful job making it!!! What makes it even more beautiful is that it's hand made!! Enjoyed your video and so I gave it a Thumbs Up
The artistry is fascinating, and the rhythm of the editing should also be congratulated. Some shots are a little overexposed so we miss some of the detail - not a criticism at all, just a note. Thank you so much for sharing.
beautiful and elegant design. could you show us more details of the building. what is the lining and the milky solution ? is that for a tin lining for tea etc Thanks so much
Thank you for sharing such an amazing metalworking video. Fantastic! I noticed at 16:53 in the video, there's a white liquid poured into the copper pot. What is it, and why does it instantly turn the interior of the pot silver? Can you please tell me what that liquid is? Thank you.
I'm sorry, why did you have to go through all that trouble with the straight plate at the 13th minute? Couldn't you just cut it off with scissors? And a question: what solution did you tin it with? Is it some kind of tin salt? What is it called? If it's not a secret, of course.
The best thing about this video is, there's no talking/music, just pure craftsmanship throughout.
I love it, well done Sir x

Good observation. I was thinking the same thing. :))

copper vertigus insecticide. "mastery " wouldnt be my first words did u even look inside after the tinning
The statement was that mastery is the culmination of years of experience, not that this specific work exhibits mastery. It certainly is nice work tho.

Bon courage.
