Wished I had a garage so I could have something like that like the new house too
My bike is sitting on my dolly right now. This was the best thing I’ve bought for my bike since I bought my bike. It helps me work on it or wash it up. I also occasionally use it to get my bike out of the way so I can work on other projects. No other lift/dolly is as simple and easy as this.
What about oil changes? Does the lift get in the way ?

On my 17 fxdl the oil pan is offset so the jack doesn't go from frame to frame rail
I am way too lazy for this set-up. Looks great, wish I wasn't so lazy.

Even the lift alone would be good as it’s wider than most.. You can pick the whole bike up instead of raising front then back. I own FXR so the lift is all I need as it’s a lighter bike. Great review 👌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

$700 shipped? I can almost buy two Harbor Freight ride on lifts for that price. Most people already have a motorcycle Jack. But they made this just narrow enough so a motorcycle jack won’t fit inside it.
I pretty much thought the exact same thing.
In my case I don’t want a lift in this garage, not enough room but if you have room for a lift then great!

Hello we will be back in Eureka Springs next weekend for International Female Riders Day at the Switchback bar.
I would have to tip up my Yamaha Bolt a bit off the kickstand to fit the jack under. Not too much of a biggie, I could definitely use this lift.
Get a rubber block big enough to set your kickstand on. 1 or 2 inches thick would do.
Nice video, but I wish you showed trying to move it straight forward & backwards. I just watched another persons video and he had difficulty doing that. Also, can this or any jack be used under a bike that has a center stand? Thanks.
I don’t know about the center stand. I have never had a bike with one. If you use 2 hands it easy to control the direction to be more precise in moving it.
Do you happen to know what the inside distance is of the coaster part?
Wondering if it's 9" or wider to use my existing lift and my oil drop pan to fit in there.

Can this be used to keep the tires off of the ground during winter storage ? Or will it harm the bike ? I store mine in a unheated garage...in Canada. So like 7 months a year.
It would work great for that! I don't know any reason it would hurt the bike.

The problem is the lift only lifts the bike so the dolly can fit underneath. Could I buy a lift from another mfg and just the dolly from let's roll?The video from Robert Simmons says the lift is only good for 9 inches and is not high enough for maintenance.
You can buy just the dolly, there is a link in the description to the website and if you look you can get just the dolly. I don’t know what kind of maintenance he is doing but we used mine today to suspend an ultra and we swapped his front tire and wheel from a 19 to 21. If you doing brakes, wheels etc I think it’s great, the lift might be in the way when doing fluid changes so again I guess it depends on what kind of maintenance your doing.
I like mine just wish the jack was easier to use
Did you buy grease on the end of the bolt where it contacts the lift?

My M/C Lift is one where the lift and dolly are combined. It even has a removable handle for maneuvering on the side.
Don't see how having these two functions separate is somehow an advantage, especially when you have to get down on the floor to position it and ratchet it up... And yes I use my lift all the time to lift when I do maintenance; rotate my bike in the garage; and maneuver it tight into the corner so I have room to park my car beside it.
I have one like that, not saying anything bad about yours but on mine the handle broke off, it did not maneuver nearly as easily as this it was not as stable as this, hopefully your is better built than the one I have. I’m going to gift mine to someone as I won’t be using my old again.

The advantage of separate lift and dolly.......the lift is low, fits easily under bike, the dolly has giant wheels that without the bike being lifted would no way fit under bike
Them big wheels, like he said is better for running over little shit laying in the floor.........what he didn't mention, some of us have pre-fab garage with plywood floor, where you lift the bike is where it stays with little wheels

We just used it to take a 19 off and put a 21 on for a friends bike. We did tilt the bike a little but the it was very stable on the lift even tilted a little,
@@RidingintheOzarks pardon my ignorance but is that the rear tire? I’m concerned I won’t be able to get the rear out from under the fender. I just don’t have a good way to lift my 2017 road glide ultra.
@@benwilloughby7802 we did his front, I can’t say it would work the same for the rear but you can get it over 6 inches off the ground. I will add this question to a follow up video about the lift if I get time to do one.

That's why you have the hunard dollar one from harbor freight, and on concrete floor you can move it around, but with them little tiny wheels you won't move it around on plywood floor

Well I guess when you get the products for free, its a great deal and "its the best on the market"-- but to me its not work $630.00 ++. You can make the dolly (if you can weld) for about $150.00 in material.
I would not have gave $600 before trying this one but it loads better than $300 units I have used. It is the best product of this type that I have used. Obviously I have not used them all but have used several kids and have a $1,200 lift in my shop.
At $630 that seems way over priced. I got one at Harbor Freight for $150 that had hydraulic jack but not as wide or sturdy but fine for the occasional use I give it.
It may seem over priced, and before I used it I would have said the same thing but after using it I’m sold.
@@RidingintheOzarks 4 casters, a screw jack, and some steel channel welded together that in material cost is easily under $100. Sure they had done some load testing but come on. Their profit margins gotta be well north of 50%.... to each their own I guess.

You can't change oil with it and it doesn't rise high enough to work comfortably on a bike. all you can do is move around your bike that's not enough
We just took a 19 in wheel off and put a 21 on with it. Is it tall like a table lift no but I don’t have room in my garage for table lift. I will do an oil change with it next time to see if I have the same problem but not all bikes have drain holes in same places…

If you already have a scissor jack, you really don't need theirs, only the trolley. But I bet you could make your own dolly for a lot less $$

LOL Funny how you can tell when someone is being sponsored to review only good remarks about a product. They never mention the cons. I saw 4 cons that makes me not want to buy this product.
Enlighten me of the cons because I really like mine, and it was a sponsored video because they gave me the product to review, it is tagged a sponsored video so viewers know also, they had no say in the content itself other than I had to show the proper way to use (Dolly inserted from kickstand side) the opinion is my own. I have done half a dozen oil changes from it, changed front wheels, etc…

Ken the video says it sponsored. I thought it was obvious but apolgize if it wasn’t clear, no I did not buy it and it’s not a commercial, it’s an honest review. I would not say it was best the one I have used if it wasn’t.
@@RidingintheOzarks My apologies, I did not see anything that said "sponsored." It is VERY HARD to believe a review is honest when the item is supplied for free. It's more like, "Would you pay $600 for that jack if it was your own money. Funny, if you look on TH-cam, 99% of the reviews are from content creators, just saying.
@@Kenn1969 Ken I understand your skeptism and I probably would not have bought it for $600 before I tried it. Would I now, yes before I bought another $200-300 lift/dolly system that doesn't work as good, I have a more expensive Redline stands lift in my shop and think I will get more use out of this in the next year than I have gotten out of it. And it takes up a lot of space when not in use... I have done probably over 30 reviews of products that were given to me and I always warn that the review will be honest and I need several weeks to test the product before doing the review. I have had companies ask me to make sure I mention certain features but NONE have ever asked me to be favorable or placed any conditions on it. Fact is most companies would not give away an expensive product if they were afraid the review would be unfavorable. Many have expressed they appreciate any feedback for product improvement and occasionally I have included it in the reviews. My Audience means more to me than any free product but If I can share a product with you that I might not otherwise get to then that seems like it is a bonus for you and why I do these type videos. It is a chance for me to test a product and share my thoughts about it.
@@Kenn1969 Oh yeah the Sponsored is suppose to comes up on the video and is placed there by youtube, we are required by FTC law and TH-cam to report sponsored content, product endorsements or paid product placement. If it did not some up that would be a bug on the TH-cam side.
