Your videos have reminded me that prayer is in large part defined by generosity. While we do need a standard for our regular communal prayer and dogmatic theology, each person’s prayer rule is radically unique-with all the eclecticism that might entail. Just because books can be mass-published does not mean we should expect them to be mass adopted. Whether one picks up a prayer rope or a rosary, the Book of Common Prayer or the Synaxarion, the Boston Psalter or the Vulgate-each has something to offer, and we must be humble enough and perceptive enough to recognize when the Spirit is moving us through the prayers of neighboring traditions (or the traditions we might have grown up with). Our various lectionaries, prayer books, and hymnals hold less heresy that we might initially assume. Again, thanks for your videos; I’m more generous when I open any of these various books and their prayers have more generously offered themselves to me. All the best, Dale.
Hello Dale, I'm a convert to the RCC about a decade ago. I'm also a Sewanee Alum as well. Because of my experiences at Sewanee, I'm now joining the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. I have been watching and praying for your on your journey. I am ecstatic to see your optimism and openness to the Theotokos' responses to your prayer.
Love your story and your channel. I wrestle with the exact same questions and quests as you. I lean back and forth east or west. Love the Catholic Church the only two things holding me back are papal infallibility and purgatory. God Bless!
You have had an interesting journey, sir. I have mostly spent time in Roman and Old Catholic churches and now I'm starting to look into Anglicanism and I like what I see.
understand your journey. I would suggest that you get a copy of the four book Liturgy of the Hours. I have been using for a while now and find it helpful in my prayer. I've tried the christian prayer but its difficult to follow. God Bless you on your journey.
@markremillard7536 It arrived and I am delighted with it. I will start actually praying with it at the first eve of next Sunday. Thanks for the recommendation.
_Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will._ Philippians 2:12-13
The problem is that the Latin Church ceased being the Church 1000 years ago. Christ said the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father. The unified Church believed this for 1000 years. Then the Pope thought he was smarter than Jesus. Now the pope says he worships the same god as the Moslems and Hindus. I guess if unity with man is more important than Unity with Christ, one must do what he must do. Christ asks if he will find Faith when He returns. Most will have found "unity" with the Antichrist. I do not find unity with man to be more important than unity with the Christ that is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. Not false union with men that change from day to day how they worship and what they worship. No, I am not going to unsubscribe from you. I guess my heart has a place for you; one that has been saddened. However, after much prayer and much torment and many sleepless nights, I found peace in my final decision. It was different than yours. I guess in the end we will find if we decided correctly, or if it even matters.
Just found your video, channel. I returned to the Catholic church this last year after being gone 40 years & my confessor said welcome home.
I am praying for you my good Brother. You sound more Catholic than most I know do not fret my brother Come home . We are waiting for you.

@@samwisegrangee thank you for that wise reminder. All that is gold does not glitter, perhaps?
Welcome home, Brother! ❤❤❤
Thank you.
Congratulations on taking the next step, Dale! Maybe one day we won't have to choose between the East or the West lung.
Stella Maris ora pro nobis!

At one point we’re you chrismated into the Orthodox body?
I am Eastern Orthodox, but I will not get in between you and God.
