And hopefully a 1974 vault at some point as well. Some interesting tracks on the extra (as well as some songs I have never enjoyed) and a number of fairly obscure songs from 74. My spine was a little mangled. Hope they continue the series with 1970, 71, 72, 75, 76 etc as well. So far got all the 70s ones as well as a few of the 80s.
I think this is a decent formula from NOW, doing it by year. I like year themed approaches (in book series as well as CDs etc) and it is a wonderful snapshot of the time. Glad they are going for the big hits as well as the songs that just made it into the charts or the ones that disappeared without a trace and also a mix of styles. Odd that extras only have three CDs though, would have thought there are still zillions of songs to add to this series of discs, especially when the first vault seems to be back to 4.
