    Hi Satakshi. Timesheets are a joke in most countries. I am Management consultant at a big4 in Australia. We also work 12 hours per day and we bill only 7.5 hours per day. But yes, the compensation is much better even if you adjust it to purchasing power parity.

    I get only 70 rupees per hour. Even after working for long hours I get per day 566 . It is harsh truth and I really feel bad about it.

    What do you think about going to the West (like Canada), working and coming back to India after saving say Rs 2 crore? Is that a good corpus to be financially independent in India where one doesn't have to work & participate in this exploitative work system again?

      Its a good move from experience gaining stand point also. The exploitation is relatively less there. But I am not sure if 2 Crore can actually make you financially free, but of course one needs to compute how much our your annual expenses and future investments!

    Hi Satakshi, I've been watching a bunch of your videos for some time and I wanted your opinion on something. I am currently preparing for mba entrance exams and I am getting not the best colleges but above average ones from the exams I have given, with the median salary around 12-15 lpa ctc mostly. I'm thinking of taking a drop again next year since I want to do an mba from only one of the top institutes. I'm a fresher and I finished my bachelors in 2021. What's your advice?

    Great video, but the problem with HR'S in India is they are not willing to negotiate salary on basis of number of hours actually worked and now a days in service based companies they have created some sort of hypothetical barrier or bar for the upper limit of salary.

    Hi Shatakshi, thanks for making this video! The connecting point for me is migraine :D I still struggle with that and I want to build my life around me and not the other way around. I have worked in US and I guess India doesn't have concept of hourly rate to indirectly promote overworking ourselves! I'm a PMO who earns less than peanuts, looking into Project Management and Management Consultant. Which can provide good pay and wfh ? Is Management Consulting too taxing on health ?

      Management consulting can be taxing. But it does wonders to your career in terms of learning and exit opportunities.

      There are few who got in. But we dont give guarantees. Even Harvard Kennedy School doesnt give that. If only UN and multi lateral is your mandatory goal, then I wouldnt suggest GGI.
