Yeah the first delay we had for it made me forget about the set and I preordered mine in early September and I live in the states so I can be patient for it but also cannot wait lol.

It was so worth the wait what an amazing release . Yeah second sight are so good about getting their releases out to customers early. The transfer is very good and the art cards are so peachy 👌👌👌👌
It certainly was Jimmy 🤩 so glad it came early, like an early Christmas present 😀 the cards are brilliant would love to do something with them, but what? 🤔 it was a nice touch to get them, which cut will you watch first? Next I will watch the extended cut on Saturday . The transfer is very good . Yeah what to do with the art cards I like the fly boy one so may frame that. Also the posters in the book are so good 👌👌👌

Hi John, its one of the top releases of the year & worth the wait & blows away the 4K Italian edition which came out a few yrs ago, Second Sight put together a high quality collectors edition which will be a diamond in one"s movie collection, enjoy your copy !
Yeah Carlos I totally agree with you on that one!! I remember the Italian one, I was always interested to upgrade this movie to 4K but never thought the versions were the "real deal" then BAM second sight drop this and 🤩🤩🤩 this is the ULTIMATE version for me! It is without doubt the best special edition I have and it is as you say a diamond in the collection 👌 cheers mate..I'm savoring the collection very slowly 🤩🤩👍👍👍

Very jealous that you have your copy! Ours is on our way from Zavvi and we're definitely worried about whether it'll arrive with any damage. I don't know if it's real or not but I've seen 1 or 2 photos floating around on Facebook of copies of Dawn of the Dead being shipped from Amazon in no box at all - it looks like they've whacked a shipping sticker on the Dawn of the Dead box itself and sent it with absolutely no packaging! Sounds like a damn nightmare haha. Great showcase of the edition mate, hopefully it's not long before ours arrives!

Haha, it was a day 1 purchase for me (in May 🤯🤣) but honestly, if I had been undecided I couldn't have passed it up for me its probably the BEST special edition I have! I plan to do more videos on the separate parts (I've slipped through the cds and been REALLY IMPRESSED by them.... Best picture... 1 Theatrical cut, 2 Argento cut, 3 Cannes cut... I'm obviously just in the very early stages of tackling it but WOW WOW WOW!! Thanks for watching and the kind comments James 🤩🤩👍👍👍

Fantastic release mate, a bit pricey for me but hopefully they will release a cheaper version.
Its amazing Bushman, I think they will release a cheaper version without booklets etc but still keep all three cuts of the movie for hopefully the £30 mark 🤞🤞🤞 cheers for watching mate 🤩🤩👍👍

Keith.... words don't do it justice mate!!! Just can't wait for you to have the experience of getting your hands on this unbelievable set!!! I was nervous to open it, especially with the didn't in the box, but those air bags looked after it well!! I quickly flicked through It and yeaaahhhh the sharpness in daylight scenes in the town were beautiful!! Nice video Mr. Mondo 😊. Looks like a great release made by and for fans of the movie. This is my least favorite Romero zombie-movie (maybe even my least favorite zombie-movie in general), but will definitely buy a more standard edition when it's released. All that said, I'm very happy for you that you got this magnificent boxset 👍.
It can divide people for sure Koroshiya! I've always had a good time with this movie from the first time I saw it....Fulcis Zombie 2 has eclipsed it recently but THIS SET!!!! wow mate!! Easily set of the month!!! Cheers buddy 🤩🤩👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies I'm sure it's a well made film, but for me it misses something to get me hooked into the story unfortunately. I will get the standard edition at some point, because it's one of the most well known horror movies and should ofcourse be in my collection. Sure it's not the boxset of the year, haha?

@@MondoChelloveckMovies I have the DVD, but I think it only has the theatrical cut on it, so that's the one I've seen. Would like to hear Goblins score though, as their score for Deep Red was one of the reasons I became a much bigger horror/gialli fan than I already was.
Yeah the Goblin soundtrack plays throughout the whole movie, REALLY changes the dynamics mate 👍👍🤩

Yeah I agree totally Zachary 👍 the thing is just solid as a rock, no issues with any part of it!! The extras are plentyful... the sound has 5.1 on apart from the Cannes cut (mono) the sound is very nice indeed... I'm on a week off next week....guess what I'm going to be doing? 🤔🤣🤣🤩🤩👍👍

It totally is Andrew!! I've had a quick look through the discs and was particularly interested to see the picture quality in all the cuts.... for me the Argento cut comes in second place behind the Theatrical cut 🤔 i heard its the "softest" but I was really impressed by the picture....it has 5.1 surround on it as well so the Goblin score stands out, also I quickly went through the cds and was REALLY impressed by them...because they were ripped off by many an Italian horror film, you kind of get the soundtrack to many films in a way 🤔🤣 I think I will watch the Argento cut first as that's the one I've seen the least!! 👍 I'm not from Scotland Andrew, I'm from around 50 miles from it, in Newcastle.. we are called "Geordies" but a lot of people see the similarities in parts of the accents 🤔 cheers for a great comment Andrew 🤩🤩👍👍

Hey no problems, they are definite similarities for sure 😊👍 yeah I heard the same but the "cannes cut" seemed a little less colourful and its only 1.0 mono in audio... so I'm putting it last... but that could change after watching them all 🤔 didn't know you were from Australia, great place would love to go there one day, but the plane journey would be 🤯🤯wow 🤣🤩🤩🤩👍👍

Cheers Spero, appreciate that 🤩 hmmm the FULLEST version is the "Cannes cut" the "Argento cut" is cut in a way that it takes the humor out, and the "theatrical cut" has less story in.. but I think the "cannes cut" is the most uncut on the disc, thanks for your question Spero 🤩🤩👍👍
