Those were the days. I wish I could do again such a blast
this December it will be 20 years since we lost Dime 😢 and only a 6 years since we lost Vinnie,Rest In Power to the Abbott Brothers 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🎸🎸🎶🎶
I remember in the early 90's me and my buddies were riding around in a Camaro. I was in the backseat with a big speaker box and I heard Cowboys from Hell for the first time! I was blown away and wanted to know who it was. Amazing how vivid that memory is for me. Been loving Pantera ever since that night.
Why couldn’t I be alive for pantera 😢
Dunno man

It's a shame u was dead brother 😞
Because you're cursed. Deal with it.
First time I saw them it was 1991 I believe. The venue was packed from end to end!! I was literally hanging on to the bar so I didn't get sucked into the pit...it was so freaking amazing!!! The second time I saw them, they opened for Skid Row. Me and my friend left after Pantera played...lol..
No
too bad you left. Skid Row put on epic shows on that tour. They were nothing like the rest of those 80s hair bands, much more closer to real heavy metal and energy as crazy as Pantera.
a lot of people left after Pantera on that tour.

Phil, Dime, Rex and Vince…..I love you guys 😍❤️

These guys were musical legends! But at heart, they were just like every fan rockin in the crowd.
they enjoyed it the most
thats not an entire statement but they were just fans who were so into it, literally in that way, in to it.

About to be a Dad for the first time at 44. Already got a Pantera onesie ready.
Pantera forever
What a time that was. The energy this band delivered was legendary, and I am beyond grateful that I was there to see it all. Pantera was an experience.
There will never be a band like pantera . People dont realize how tight and brutal as pantera.
I'm 48 and my kids had the pleasure of growing up for 4 years listening to vulgar display of power. The cassette was stuck in the car stereo lol and we loved every moment that we listened to that cassette. Thank the boys from pantera for giving my kids a brilliant lesson in music 🤘
STRONGER THEN ALL
Than
I lived through all of it. 13-19 years old was Cowboys to Trendkill. Everyone at school listened to Pantera.
First album I ever bought was Cowboys From Hell. I was probably around 10 years old at the time and saved up money by doing chores around the house for weeks. Still have it to this day. Pantera changed my life. RIP brothers. The legacy will never die
THIS is the American dream, good ol boys who like to have fun went and conquered the world of metal, the kings of it all
PANTERA is simply masters at live the performance. With Dimes antics and Phil's ability to capture the crowd followed up with Rex and Vin holding things down , The 4 of them live was absolutely 💯 percent and for the fans!!
You either lived thru the Pantera Era, or you heard about it from your parents...😎
Damn straight 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻RIP to the guys that were the CFH first Dime, and VP!!
Heard about it from Doom lol. No regerts
So when did your parents tell you about them?
Or older cousins
Lived and passed it on to my kids!!!!! My son was singing walk when he was 3 and head banging right along with me!!!
I love pantera
The greatest, kids take notes
I saw them in 2001, greatest concert I ever went to. I was right up the front near Dime. I still have one of his picks.
December 31st, 1995. Tarrant Co. Convention center, my Mom was 5 months pregnant with me and somehow managed to fall asleep while Pantera was playing. To say this band is one of my favorites is a severe understatement.
I wish I had listened to Pantera more as a kid!
Pantera Rules!
*And this was how the goddamn 90's bid farewell to all of us.*
Live fast, die hard. RIP Dime and Vinnie. You will always be alive in our hearts.
I seen them last summer and im so happy for phil. Hes sober and sounds better than 20 years ago. I know he has alot of regret in his heart but drugs are not him. If he wasnt doped out the band would havr never stopped
2:46 Going to see Pantera and Judas Priest at the same festival this October.
Floods and Strength Beyond Strength are my favorites. Of course, my jaw dropped when I first heard Mouth For War back in the 90s as a teen
Pantera forever ❤
So very fortunate to be able to see PanterA live twice in Toledo. Absolutely miss the Vinnie and Dimebag!
21 and filled with piss and vinegar in ‘91 and nothing was better than the Cowboys From Hell! 🤘🏻
Best show I ever went to was Pantera at the Aragon Ballroom in '96 or '97. To say it was incredible would be a massive understatement. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Vulgar Videos was such a good tape
So many great bands I never got to see and never will. At least we have recordings to watch and listen to. It's not the same. But it's better than nothing
How could they forget the time Phil was sent flying after being hit from behind by some dude hanging from wires pretending to be an angel?! 😂😂😂 their concerts could be hilarious as hell at times
I wish I could hear that voicemail from Dime left on Eddie's phone... :/
thank you universe for such a wonderful band
FOREVER STRONGER THAN All
Man I miss them days. Just awesome I'm so glad I saw them the couple times I did. The Abbott brothers rule. RIP
Every moment of the PanterA band since Mr. Anselmo has enough Power (Metal) to destroy all K-Pop & Taylor Swifts music, that's how much the Goddamn (Electric) PanterA band means to the heavy metal world. The first ever song i ever heard was Cowboys From Hell by PanterA, the whole CFH album was the first ever album i was raised by. Im currently 12, turning 13 on the 14th of Sept
RIP Dime and fockin vince MAN!!! STRONGER THAN ALL!
"TTTTTHRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
one moment: beer flying from stage to balcony
3 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch it go, getcha pull brother!!
I saw them live several times (94,96 (w/ White Zombie), early 00's) and had a great experience...and then the last clip of the sea of cell phones....you'll never be into the concert if you're on your cell phone.
last clip kinda sucks because man, imagine going to a show and just watching it through your own phone, they have cameras there themselves just go enjoy it
Welcome to 2024. It's the sad reality
Just wait til they start planting technology in our heads if you think people are disconnected from reality now.
Watch it go! Getcha pull brother 🍺 333!
A NEW LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE AND GODDAMN ELECTRIC POWER
Damn, watching phil talk nowadays gets me in my feels, from what I saw before his heroin addiction (although I wasn't even alive, just going off of video clips), he was pretty well spoken. Hard to see how he talks and acts now...
"The FIrst Comeback Show, 2023" is pretty Forgettable without the Abbott brothers!
As Vinnie once said:
"People are selfish, man, you know? They want what they want. They don't care what you want, you know? And it's unfortunate that people go 'Oh wow, they could get Zakk Wylde to jump up there on stage and it's Pantera again. No, it's not."
"It's not that simple, you know? If Eddie Van Halen wants to get shot in the head 4 times next week, would everybody be going 'hey man, Zakk, go play for Van Halen, just call it Van Halen", you see what I'm saying? It's really selfish for people to think that, and it's stupid."
"They call it a reunion for a reason, it's called bringing the original members back to what it was. So there's a lot of these things that they call reunions that aren't really
reunions. They got one dude from the band floating around in them, you know? I mean, that's not a true reunion, and with Pantera, that'll never be possible."
Whatever dude. Show was awesome they blew Metallica outta the water when I saw em. Also, it's not a reunion it's a tribute. It literally can't be a true reunion when half the band is dead anyway.
The whole point was let people who never got to see these songs played live get a chance to and just have a great time. If you don't like that or can appreciate it then that's on you.
I was in highschool in the ninety's. As far as i was concerned Pantera was the only band on the planet.
Same here, and they're still my favorite band today, stronger than all!
@@gregoryfuller9361 That show was sick, concerts don't have the same feel as they did in the 90's and early 2000's. Hopefully you get to go to one of the reunion shows, I'm going out to Chicago for the show at Soldier Field!
Phil needs to be hired to narrate audio book versions of Classic English Literature. Would be amazing.
“Next up for your listening pleasure, we present “The Canterbury Tales”, a collection of twenty-four stories, narrated by Philip H. Anselmo.”
Saw them at a club show Ybor City Tampa right before Vulgar came out. I know the bigger venue the better for the players but for us commoners a small show is up close and personal . My 25th birthday show, soundtrack to my arrested adolescence!
Getcha Pull! Black Tooooooth.

How has the entire rock and metal world just decided to give a pass to a self-described white supremacist? I was a pantera fan, but I’m not down the Phils documented use of the n-word, and his “white power” sentiments he’s expressed at a live show.
Dime used it too don’t be a fan if you can’t take the heat😅
Forgot about the time when phil was screaming “white power”
Quite unforgettable if you ask me🤷😂

I'm sorry but to see the so called" reunion" together with the real Pantera moments is disgusting. Pantera without the Abbots is like Van Halen without the Van Halen brothers.
No band attracts racists like Pantera. lol
Guess I’m a racist then?😅
Rikki Rachtman was awful lol I can't stand that dude.
back when mtv was actually good lol

Pantera for life.

Honorable mention, when they did an opening for a Spongebob episode. That's unforgettable for me.
Saw the "Cowboys From Hell" 3 times, first show with Zombie in '97 and what would be the last tour.
