I really respect the fact that you are very transparent about sharing your internal conversation! I am from a generation where one paid for their extended upper education, but as you so deftly captured, learning is really developing and refining the skill of observing! That does not require money, though it does require commitment. The latest trends are being developed by those artist who are amplifying something that has been done in past but they also realize a new take on it. "The better we understand how we got to this point, the better decisions we can make going forward." 👏👏👏
Absolutely I love this
My Blender workflow: 1. Find fun new TH-cam tutorial. 2. Follow along until my screen stops looking like the tutorial and my buttons don't do what the tutorial says they should do. 3. Scratch head why it doesn't work. 4. Close blender for the rest of the day.
Try doing something with no tutorial
"Steal like an artist", yep.
Also, the kaizen principle, if you copy but try to improve/upgrade upon it, works even better.
Oh absolutely
This is great because the original was done in C4D which doesn't have geometry nodes, so the workflow is not just a simple reverse engineering process but requires some creativity too.
Yep! That’s what definitely makes it more challenging and much more rewarding
You don't know how long i have been waiting for this video since you dropped the teaser . i Have refreshed your channel more than 10 times today🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha that means a lot!!
It's not stealing if you call it reverse engineering
7:13 bevel is not working for me. idk why
thank you so much, i use this in the future :D.
Great video! That's an excellent way to learn and try new tools. I also wanted to say that I’ve learned a lot from watching your channel. Thank you for your tutorials! ^^)
Thank you! Looking out for more videos from you as well!
Thanks for the tutorial! Not sure why bevel is not working. I am using 4.1.1 and rendering in cycles. Any ideas?
Question, maybe for another video. Applying the node pipe Cube - Mesh To Curve - Curve to Mesh (Curve Circle) for the wire look always leaves a small whole in the vertex intersection. Is there a way to, at least, join the mesh at it? Thank you.
Niceeee. I’ve been building this figure and I put a mesh overlay on top to smooth the cracks in the clay in edit mode, then when I went to colored it in sculpt mode my whole shape disappeared! I am new to Blender do you have any idea how to help me?
wow great video
Thanks!
i've been seeing this arts in pinterest and tried to recreate them and failed..thanks a lot for the tutorial..please do these type of tutorials in future :)
Will do!

You're so obsessed with geometry nodes great work bro love your tutorials ❤
Cool, very interesting 😊
Glad you think so!
Excellent video. Could you please reply the “Axonometric” projection (90° plan view not been deformed) as the original reference? Love your channel.
I just finished your class on CG Cookie. It was great and I learned a lot. This is a great idea for finding a next step.
I’m glad you liked it man!
Thank you! This helped 😊
I've been following Ducky since 2019, seen a lot of creators promote their products and stuff but the reason I love Ducky is coz he is having his full blown material addon but still he shows us how to make materials from scratch, Love It! 💯😎
I Don't thing it's really that controversial of a topic. Especially now with an "AI" thing in the mix.
If you study \ recreate it for you own education it's not stealing. If you give a credit to the original it's likely not stealing also. And if the random onlookers aren't able to find you piece similar enough to the one you took the inspiration from, you may not need to give it a credit. Though, i personally think it's good manners to do so if you think you need to.
Hello. For beginners, I want you to create a 3D animated design video in Blender.
I know it's not your main viewer base but would be sick to see you give houdini a shot! if you like geonodes something tells me you'll fall in love haha
Ducky, truly thank you dude. You literally change lives with your work and dedication to helping us all out.
Make like Microsoft Motion Design. and how to make the render look like redshift and octain. we blender artist really need it.
Im very new to geometry nodes, and I would love to say I really enjoyed following this tutorial to get a grater knowledge on geometry nodes. W video keep it up
My bevel node is not working in the shading editor... dunno why
For me too. Can anyone help ? Thanks
can't find Color Ramp in Blender 4.1
first video got randomly while i was watching for a project loved so much
Great stuff 🔥
Thank you
awesome, please create videos like that in the future❤❤❤
Too learn and no co-op, I am all for 'stealing'!
Yo like two years ago I watched your tutorials and really enjoyed it, and then I just kinda stopped.. I stopped using blender for a long time now lol.. but you can do amazing stuff with this software
Welcome back!
I learn by copying you often :) thank you
Hello there. Do you have a full blender course?
How make this in blender?
th-cam.com/video/p2IBnSjubk0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=taPnCh685rvT8CK8
Use the cell fracture addon
steal like an artist
sir cgi advertising
😍😍
really into this style, thank youu
Awsome! Learned a lot!
Step 1: Close the internet.
Step 2: Open blender.
Step 3: Make something.
This is how you get better at blender. Extrapolate for any other skill in your life. You don’t need tutorials, you need practice. Go practice.
Yes! Many ways to get better in this craft!
Gave up on bevel node and used bevel modifier instead
The mod won’t work once you add on the round objects in the system
@@TheDucky3D I am using a different technique
can you create a character only with nodes?
I’m not sure
@@TheDucky3D como puedo tener un canal como el tuyo?
I just realized you really look like this emoji🥸
Haha this is a first
